why not give us the option to sell all salvage for isk at the end of the match? Usually I get defender or basic suit loadouts that i will never use, and need to manually go into my assets to sell them, so why not just give us the option to sell them from the end of match screen to get the isk faster? |

You do realize that you can simply save those things up and wait for STD/ADV **** to get sold to the highest bidder SOONtm, right?

yes, yes i do, but who will even buy it? if you feel like the market isnt good enough to actually sell the stuff when they are able to be sold/traded, then really its just better to sell to the market npc, and if we can do that then its probably better to have the option to sell salvage from the end of match screen just to make it even easier. |

Because selling items and receiving ISK requires communication with the server. Note how slow selling items are in quarters? Well, we store our items in the same DB that EVE does. That is why some of our actions were limited, because EVE players doing those actions can overwhelm the server.
Getting you out of battle, back into your quarters is more important. Then you can sell items from there. My alt heavy solves this, once a week or so he goes through his assets and sells all the junk he will never use, never skill into.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

The way I figure, it would not be any more complicated than the 'activate instant boost' option we get at the end of the battle. so really, selling items at the end of match should not add that much more of a problem as far as lag or server issues. |

And besides, who wants to buy militia gear from other players? if you are getting militia gear as salvage, dont want it, dont need it, and cant sell it to other people , of course maybe you're gonna want to sell it to the NPC, and of course being able to sell it at the end of match screen is easier than having to scroll through your assets to sell it later. |
