Suggestion 1: don't
Suggestion 2: better dampen the **** out of it, and brick tank the shields, because that's the only chnce you have

Iv been running knives on my cal scout for some time now . Try this fit .
Cal scout Cko
complex cardiac regulator , complex Kin kat
2 complex shield extenders 2 complex myofibrils
cloak, remote explosives
Ishy knives , klakatoa Rail rifle .
Proud Caldari purist .
I fought and bled for the State on Caldari prime.

I do quite often use 2 complex precision enhancers in place of the myofibrils and a complexrange amp Iin place of the cardiac regulator . But iv found that the added mobility the myofibrils give a big help in closing the distance quickly . Both have their merits and their down sides .

Cardiacs maybe (caldari scouts have ****** stats, one of the many reasons I prefer minmatar for stabbing), kincats definitely not. I would dampen instead.
I would also rather put on a flux scanner than REs.

Even Galscout is a better knife suit.
Prefer Minmatar because of stamina regen, speed, and knife damage bonus. Who cares about eWar if you can outspeed and outflank?
Caldari scout yields poor rewards for what its bonus has to offer. It will forever be a lite assault.

Golden Day, honestly, don't use the Cal Scout to knife. It has the second fastest speed by default, but that's all it's good for when knifing. No damage bonus, no built in magic speed, no hack bonus which couples the knives nicely, and EWAR is down the hole. The only thing you need these days are Dampeners to go against Logistics scans (and Amarr Scouts who actually try)

Especially if you're doing Rail Rifle - Nova Knife because that's Long Range - Close Range
