This is not a video about my skill or anything like that, this is showing how well Dust is running for me. It is the first match of the day and it is a full match, boring one too, I might say.
It was supposed to show the best case scenario that I can get with performance. Little mail, 3 custom channels and few contacts.
Now, I know some of you can run dust really well with your first gen ps3's but unfortunately I only have a year old ps3 with HDD and a brand new one with SSD.
In this video I am using HDD.
Personally I don't feel any difference in performance before or after 1.1.
PS. I know performance doesn't really translate all that well to video but I am experiencing very sluggish controls in that match.

To be honest, performances looks ok in that battle. I didn't watch the whole thing but skipped through briefly.
Most people consider DUST's controls to be clunky at the best of times.

Most people consider DUST's controls to be clunky at the best of times. Yeah, it does indeed look ok, not good, but ok. And it's the first match for the day anyway. I wasn't trying to show worst case scenario here, I was trying to show best case scenario.
But the controls feel very sluggish, it's hard to do anything precise because it feels like the game is resisting everything that I'm trying to do.
Or maybe I've gotten too used to 60(+) fps games...

Fluid movement is more important than frame rate and Dust fails at this.
Usually banned for being too awesome.

They're can't be ranked in terms of levels of importance. Both are pretty damn important, but I rather have smooth framerate over smooth movement. They both feel the same anyways. |

You can compensate for a bad frame rate. You cannot compensate for teleportation.
So yes, they can be ranked.

So yes, they can be ranked. Just gotta have the ability to see few seconds into the future and you can easily compensate for those teleports.

Two problems that I noticed are when you matched up with that gunnlogi , your first initial rounds were not registering , only when they were caught in the driveway to go into the complex did your shots begin to register which is common in and for this game ... the second was when towards the end when you ran into that imaginary wall before it actually allowed you to drive into the complex , again a common occurrence , I run into invisible walls a lot in this game .
We need more vids that show noticeable issues so that maybe something can finally be done about them .
Good work though .
Like I said in another thread , your a good vehicle user and you just proved me right .
I've seen you do much better though so I'm not surprised at all .
Doubts are like bothersome flies and should be treated as such and crushed . #PubsShouldBeRandomPlayers

I've seen you do much better though so I'm not surprised at all . There was also quite a bit of hit detection issues when shooting at infantry but that could also have something to do with my latency. Which, according to speedtest.net should be around 40ms.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments even though that really wasn't the point of this video, I made quite a few stupid moves in that match, could be that I was subconsciously nervous cause it was my first ever video uploaded and I knew I was going to upload that one no matter how it goes.

Have the same performance issues when I attempt to play matches in this game, so I don't. I lose the desire to play it shortly after. What I find ridiculous is that the game's in a new build and people/vehicles are still teleporting/damage isn't being registered, and enemies appear and disappear from radar. I was playing caldari scout the other day on one of my alts with precision enhancers maxed and an advanced gallente suit was not showing up on the radar at the enemy objective that I was playing off of. That's just whack cause I'm pretty sure he wasn't using dampeners of any kind. Was only able to pick him up after he started hacking.
I see you coming from a mile away. Twittter: SkylineExplicit

Anything above 30 frames are all doubles. Well most are. in a "60 FPS" game model about 38 frames are used, while around 22 are nothing but duplicates of the prior frame. The only difference is the number of frames that can be dropped before a frame is "skipped".

Well, you can't deny that regardless of however they work, they run and feel much smoother than the game we all love here.
