With the influx of officer weapons, a massive amounts of officer gear is exchanging hands, and I know a few players in the few hundred mark of SEVERAL officer weapons.
And suits seem to be more and more common...
And as of yesterday, I had my hand at the new game mode: Acquisition.
I only had one fitting, my State Assault ck.0, and I was trying to gauge the field of this new mode... I see a few officer weapons in the killfeed -- Agimus' MD, Darth's ScR, and Ghalag's RR -- but I couldn't find said users.
Moments pass, I'm on the other side of the map... someone has brought in a special suit... a Balac's Modified Assault ck.0... He finishes off a kill using the Ghalag's MRT-17 Modified Rail Rifle... He turns and see's me as he finishes reloading -- he starts shooting.
I go into a lab for cover... he approaches... I cook a flux grenade, throw it at the door entry as he steps in -- no shields! He ducks out, I chase him, his shields are coming back! I hit him a few times with my State Ishukone Assault Rail Rifle to stop his recharge rate. He's shooting back. I switch to my Kaalakiota Bolt Pistol...

I made sure the clone was terminated...
Balac's user has left the battle.
Good.
It felt great killing a Balac's suit without having to resort in bringing in my own...
Killing people in officer gear is hilarious...
Made me think... Anyone else have their sole goal in searching, and killing, those who are using officer gear? Even moreso when they are wearing extremely rare items like this?
There should be some title like this...

They are currently a "commodity", but pretty soon people will burn out their officer assets and its going to be a tad harder to find these in the field -- since I am taking in consideration the experimental labs of everyone and their alts.

I killed one with Alex CR and another with Krin AR today.Damn good feeling but there will be much more players with officer guns than usual.In every match there is one dude with officer gun.

Kill you enough times and your officer reserves will run low...
My goal is to go after those in full officer suits (i.e. Rattati's Modified Assault gk.0 with a Bon's SIN-7 Shotgun and Kalente's Assault Rifle).
And if I EVER see a Balac's item on the killfeed on the enemy team, that item will be stripped away from them.

Killing (and being killed) in officer suits/weapons should be a new event:
Event Title: Mordu's Officers
Description:
Every Officer drop suit killed offers rewards based on the meta level of the weapon that killed it:
- Militia Weapon = Highest reward
- Basic Weapon = High reward
- Advanced Weapon = Medium reward
- Prototype Weapon = Low reward
- Officer Weapon = Lowest reward
Every drop suit killed by an officer weapon offers rewards based on the meta level of the suit that was killed:
- Militia suit = Lowest reward
- Basic suit = Low reward
- Advanced suit = Medium reward
- Prototype suit = High reward
- Officer suit = Highest reward

i'd just run a proto galmando with 2 militia plasma cannons at that point.

Or have it be a squad effort -- scans and direct line-of-sight to mark said user(s) to focus fire or flank target(s).
Probably best done with 2 scouts (active & passive scans), 2 assaults (scans/needles), and a logi/sentinel via party tank or Dropships.
Granted, it might be over the top to hunt a few people per match...
