1) Don't have a map where there is only one ground spawn area for a team 2) Don't have a ground spawn area which is reachable by enemies 3) Don't have a ground spawn area where there is only a very limited spots where the clones materialise
4) Don't have a match mode where there is not timer, not even in a form of base MCC damage 5) Don't have a game mode with infinite clone count in order to avoid unforeseen slaughter
Whatever you do, DON'T combine 1) and 2). Especially not with 3).
4) and 5) are a terrible thing to combine. Avoid it.
Luckily everyone as commons sense to do everything in their power not to accidentally mix all points 1-5.
Coz that would mean: enemy team could be in lockdown, their few predefined and well-known spawn boxes targeted, instagibbed on spawn, Acq target unhacked in order to prolong the game AND having endless supply of reds spawning win WITH sugar on top: Scotty bringing in more people as the unlucky basterds realise what's up!
Looking at both sides of the coin.
Even Aurum one.

I JUST posted pretty much exactly what you're saying in the 1.1 bugs section. Along with the fact that uplink spam (Since they "Fixed" it) is at the highest I've ever seen, especially in the new game mode.
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS?

Don't have a supposedly random group of spawns called smart deploy that proto players have them all memorized.
Don't keep spawning players at those points once a group of 16 protos have swarmed onto it like a pack of killer bees.

Infinite slaughter! Kerrannnggg!
Unless the mem-leaks were fixed since the time where we did some testing with CCP, there will not be infinite slaughter.
- Around the 45-minutes mark, the game will start to swap, and feel heavier.
- After about 1 hour, hitting moving targets will become very difficult, as the game will lag in processing network data.
- An hour and 30 in, it will mostly be a slide-show, driving vehicles will be "funny" (good luck guessing where you are, as you rubberband around the map), and at any point going forward the client will crash rather hard.
(The tests were run with just 3 characters - I'd expect some of it to be aggravated further with a higher player-count) |

Don't make a rooftop in a tactical location accessible only by dropship.
In closed beta, the orbital artillery outpost had more buildings, no stupid fences on the rooftops, and ladders EVERYWHERE It was amazing. Wtf happened to that? Oh, I remember what happened. AR users complained because all the longer-ranged weapons had an advantage there. You didn't see shotgunners complaining at the time, because we were having fun hunting the 5 snipers scattered around.
