Does the opposite of a Drop Uplink:
Takes a short period of time (~10 seconds) to activate, leaving you vulnerable. Teleports your character off of the battlefield, brining you back to the spawn screen. You lose no suit and have no deaths stacked against you.
Purpose is to redeploy as another role on quick notice, but it takes some time to activate, then time to respawn while also possibly taking an uplink's spawn count.

Probably will never happen but I like the idea
There doesn't have to be a timer, you could just activate a sequence that is the same as hacking an objective
It would have to be visible - as if someone scanned you while you were activating it |

No, I can just imagine the exploit that can arise from it;
should only be valid if you lose the suit.

What stops you from using a BPO and suiciding? The 'exploit' argument is moot imo

The exploit is that smart players (KDR carebears especially) will avoid death using this.
BPO suicide only negates ISK loss, not death. Also, you have to be in the BPO suit to start with, yet the players "avoiding" death will most likely be in Proto.
If you need me to paint a picture, I might, but the exploit should be blatantly obvious.

So add an appropriate cooldown on the Uplink to prevent exploits.
