When a new player downloads DUST 514 for the first time and starts playing, assuming they don't quit within the first week, they will eventually look at the AUR market. It will be much easier for them to stomach the cost of a $5 SKIN than $10. $5 is an easy impulse purchase with no buyer's remorse.
Please reconsider the SKIN prices. Either that, or confirm that the longer a SKIN is available the cheaper it will become.

Robert Conway wrote:Agreed. Since you can more or less easily make different variants and will most likely do so in the future, and like others said in other posts, since they don't affect gameplay, just appearance, reduce the price. Once you see a leveling off in profits from SKIN purchases, release the next set of SKINs. This reason is why you can make them cheaper. Not getting as much profits anymore? Ship out a new set of visuals that have no tactical impact on the game.

Nothing in the SKINs devblog mentioned regular sales or the prices reducing over time.

Nothing in the SKINs devblog mentioned regular sales or the prices reducing over time. They said they want to add more SKINs. Rattati said they were just getting into the possibilities with them. And no they didn't say anything about prices reducing over time, but if they could lower them now to a reasonable price, that would be fine in my book, even if that price remained constant.

Nothing wrong with current prices. Cheaper than BPO which they replace. |

A BPO suit is a free suit on the battlefield you can use forever that you pay for with real money (in most cases). A BPO SKIN however is a free... color? It serves no purpose on the battlefield like a BPO suit does. Some of the militia BPO suits cost less than these BPO colors and they have a legitimate use on the field, even if they don't have very good stats.

Plus they came with a BPO.
This is just a vanity item. Compare skin prices with games like LoL or Warframe.
