Sorry, you must have missed the "these will be deployed to the LP store a little later " (sic) line in the blog. Right at the start of the bottom paragraph.
Can't log on yet, so no idea what's available, but wasn't expecting the LP skins just yet.

and dont count on the pirate skins having made it into the strongboxes either.... becuase EVERY time they try to change the strongboxes it hasnt worked the first time (and the time it got reverted to old settings in an unrelated patch...)
