What do you guys think of having a training ground/ shooting range? I mean like a place that simply has target both stationary and moving that you can shoot at? they do not give you any war points, nor do you get SP when you leave. It would simple be nice to practice sharpshooting skills and test new fits and weapons without wasting them in matches. |

I'd like that. You don't have to worry about losing suits then. |

Would be a good thing for those who want to improve and not get owned every time. |

It would be logical to receive sp for hitting targets from a certain distance or something. Think of what they represent in real life. |

I was going to rant about the fact that the game doesn't have a training mode.
I mean, what if besides honing your skills at the game, you also have to make sure your settings are to your liking? Like, you think the camera is too sensitive to the joystick movement, so you tone it down, but what if it went the other way around this time? Instead of being too sentitive, it's too hard?
You wouldn't want to get out of the game just because of that, and getting in a game takes a whole lot of time compared to other FPS games.
So I'd say, Training mode should be a thing for two reasons: 1. Get better. 2. Set options at your desire.
And then, every one would enter a game in equal odds (in a way) |

It's an old idea. The question is does CCP have the time and resources to do that?
