I wouldn't consider myself one of the best or even that good but if popping up on the killfeed with a proto sniper rifle is all that it takes for you to call them good then I do sometimes
but the more satisfying time I have playing as a sniper is when I'm in std or starter fits trying to counter snipe, I like to get in real close when I kill a sniper just to **** them off 100m or less, and I two shot an adv or proto commando that can easily 1 shot me with just a body shot
I jumped on an alt today and there was a few snipers camped in one spot 3 or 4 of them I killed one with a head shot that was just standing still for some reason that was in an assault suit, the other gave away his position trying to kill me it was a std cal mando and then when I got in real close I saw that an adv commando was moving from the spot
I took aim and he saw me and tried to aim at me, I shot and bam head shot but he had probably 600 ehp and survived with about 100 or more armor maybe less, he started to strafe and I shot again and still landed a headshot
that was just recently, I have gotten kills in QcQ with the tac sr, killed scouts by quick scope from about 90m away and I've terminated plenty of proto players with a charge sr
I usually don't do all too well but I do have my days, I usually don't play sniper unless it's to counter snipe or to try out a certain fitting, and the most kills in a single match with just an sr have not gone over 20
I wouldn't consider myself well known I'm barely about a year into the game so I haven't been around for long but maybe I'll make my mark one day
and one last thing as far as good snipers that I've had trouble killing and have done well in a match against me I've only come across a few and most of them were just tanked out and camping somewhere on a roof or redline, the battle field is too dangerous for cowardly kdr boosting snipers, not that I haven't done my share of cowardly behavior we learn from our mistakes after all |
