So it's probably common knowledge that the base Plasma Rifle is very underused and that there are so many weapons that are much better to use. I've seen some posts were people want a buff on it ROF and I would like that as well. So then I thought, if the CR and the ACR both have the same ROF, then why can't the Plasma Rifle have it the same way.
OLD
Assault Plasma Rifle ROF: 700 roughly( don't remember well) Burst Plasma Rifle ROF: 1000 for ADV, 1200 for PRO
NEW
APR ROF: 1000 for MLT - ADV, 1200 for PRO, Officer AR's somewhere between 1300-1400
This I believe will make the AR a much more viable option. So to have no people gnihctib(READ THAT BACKWARDS) about it being OP as meth, ******, *******, ecstasy, and kerosene put together, probably tone down the damage per bullet by 3-5 HP. Also I think the same should be done to all other racial rifles like the ARR and ASR. What do you guys think? Do you think this should happen, yes or no? And explain why.

Also, I don't think this is a good idea.
Care to explain why? Would like to know. I like to hear people's opinions when they speak about these kinds of topics. |

I'm also not sure that this would be the best way of going about it. Run these numbers. You're increasing the RoF by 20%, which is increasing the rate of ammo consumption, and you're reducing the damage per shot, which is reducing the damage per clip. The AR doesn't have a particularly standout damage per clip in the rifle class, and changing it in this manner would make it one of the worst in class for damage per clip, in addition to increasing overall ammo consumption.
I think the question to ask is, if the AR is indeed underperforming, why is it? Is it because it's not a sufficient CQC option? Is it because it's not flexible enough? Address that problem, rather than just buffing it because it might need a buff.
Does that answer your query? I would be happy to talk further.
Yes it does. Thanks for the explanation to your response. Really appreciate it.=ƒÿè |
