I hate the 'kill assists from using a turret' mission.

Where almost every other mission in dust can happen as a result of trying to do normal gameplay (or simply just paying more attention to doing a specific thing), the 'kill assists on turret' mission is something you have to go well out of your way to do... and then to complicate matters you have to not only 'do' something specific (be in a vehicle or man a turret & shoot at people), you have to actively NOT do what would be a normal result of these actions (intentionally not kill enemies and instead allow allies to finish them). Whenever I see these pop up on my roster, even as a vehicle user I go "welp, that's a mission I'm not getting done today", or when they pop up in the middle of otherwise enticing 'complete x daily missions' they really complicate things. I just spent a few hours trying to get one done on an alt, and due to being in the higher tier bracket proto av is called out as a response to even mlt vehicles. I hate this mission. Vet's cant do it, Noobs cant do it. The actions required to perform it require actively working against 'normal' gameplay. Please re-design it to something like "Kill x people while in a vehicle or manning a turret". Hnolai ki tuul, ti sei oni a tiu. Kirjuun Heiian. I have a few alts.

Its vehicle kill assists assists -_-. Im not opposed to the bounty but make it so just being in a vehicle counts so if anything hop in someones random tank or dropship.

He does have a point though. Double rep/harden Marduk (single seat Madruger) is practically invincible while hardened. Fuel injector means it can escape before AV can act when hardeners drop, or even retreat before the hardeners go. Purifier. First Class.

I drove around in a tank a couple of times, laying waste to innocent infantry troopers at no risk to myself. I watched them turn and shoot at me as I caught them crossing open spaces. I spilt their blood as their smiles turned to expressions of horror and their kill streaks ended as I rolled in unsuspectingly at 5 times their speed. Then I said to myself, "what a crock of sh!t," and I have never tanked again since that day.

Although I don't condone the current armor HAVs, fielding an advanced or proto HAV is enough risk alone. 600k to 1.2 million per fitting is a lot to lose. Taking an average of 200k ISK won per battle, it would mean you can die only once every three battles with the advanced, and only once out of six battles using the proto. Yes HAVs are powerful, but it should be such that eventually due to human error we lose a HAV every once in a while to keep the ISK balancing out. I make a profit on my infantry alt with an advanced dropsuit and complex modules, why shouldn't I also be able to run a profit with my advanced HAV and complex modules as well? Just drive up to the frontline, switch to the turret, put a bunch of rounds into a guy, and drive off. If the reward is something like a Booster, than it's worth the challenge. If it's not, then it shouldn't be that big of a deal just to throw the equivalent of $0.05 (this is quite literally 30 seconds of work at a minimum wage job in the US) to save yourself the time of having to deal with said challenge. With the new update, you will also be accumulating Aurum just for logging in. Are you really saying that this is warrants a design change when the devs could spend their time doing something better when you have this many options..? EDIT: Oh, you went back and edited in some harsh comments about how I "didn't win" the CPM when I gave an explanation not long ago about what was going on. My tears. What ever will I do without them.
