During my days as a lone merc in many pub contract, it has come to my intention that the weapon such as the MEGSEC and SMG
Has a lot of differences and cannot be said to be the same. So, i'm making this thread to say that which one of this secondary weapon do you fine easier to you use? For me, it is the SMG cause it has a better sight and the recoil on the gun is more bearable than the MEGSEC. I'm not saying the MEGSEC is a bad gun but the recoil is just.......huh but it does compensate with its slightly more better stopping power when your on a 1V1 with a standard heavy. So now tell me which one do you prefer to use as a secondary if this two weapon was your only Proto Gred weapon in your ASSET

Magsec sucks w/o prof.
Prof 5 magsec is like a milita assault rail...
Prof 5 kaal magsec is an SL-4 though...
For a small range increase, that's all it's good for.
Still, i love it

MagSec is OK, not awesome, but it works. Only as a finisher tho, if there are shields left, they will flash forever.

I prefer the minmatar SMG.
As I have all the SMG related skills maxed, it's terrifying. On my minmatar assault fits, I run a CBR with the SMG, and actually switch to the SMG whenever I get into a close quarters situation, because it has far more DPS, even though my CBR skills are maxed as well.
I think all sidearms should compliment light weapons like that.
Some details can be ignored

If you know how to use it then it's a "decent" sidearm. It is good on heavies and its range is ok. My only problem with it is it's ROF and recoil.

I switch to my BScP from my ScR in some ninja situations. The ScP is like "ping" while the ScR roars. Also, you can't go wrong with a 435% headshot

The BSCP headshot hits like a truck. one time I snuck onto an assault Ck.0 while he was sniping, such a good feeling it was to shoot him in the head
