First off, I would like to thank Rat's crew for making what was said to be impossible or unlikely to be introduced into the game, possible. I'm happy to see you guys are trying to please the last of us despite your small team and limited resources. Also if I come off as ungrateful or just plain stupid through this thread, please forgive me.
What I'm stating in this thread is simply a dream... That hopefully Rat and Co will have as feedback if they plan on building upon Player Trading.
Trading Menu-
This is where all trading affairs are held. This menu would be located in Neocom> Market> Player Trading
Sub Menus-
Local Trading: A list of 10-15 random active trades available that you may select from. 50 percent of these would be from NPC corps such as Quafe, you can only use ISK to complete the offers and will receive custom gear depending on the Corp you are dealing with. The other 50 will be from players who have payed a small ISK tax to get their offer on the list. Players can either pay a small amount of Aurum or wait for 24 hours to refresh the list. Trading Offers: Here all your trading offers that you have made/received are located. From here you can accept, reject or rewrite your current offers. Trading History: All your past successful/unsuccessful trading go here. They can be deleted anytime. These files would show, items sent and received, dealer and customer, and date of trade along with how much trading rank points the deal earned you.
Trade Ranking: A new form of ranking which gives bonuses and details whether the customer/dealer is reliable. The ranking goes from 1-10, everyone starts at rank 5 (no bonuses), ranks 6-10 are positive and 1-4 are negative. Having high ranks will mean reduction to tax, bonus ISK and items. Low ranks will receive higher taxes and could potentially lose ISK or items during trading(pirates raid your cargo etc). Increasing Rank- Successful trading(rarer or high ISK value trades give more pointz), selling assists to NPC, and participating as third party. Decreasing Rank- Scamming... If you are in the negative ranking you can purchase a "mask" with Aurum that will visually reset your rank to 5(players will see you as rank 5 but you aren't actually rank 5).
Third Party System- Either dealer and customer pay for broker. Broker does his thing(must be rank 5 or higher). End of story.
I will included an example later so you guys get a taste.

Well, I for one, know that I have enjoyed the Player Financing mechanic for some time now.
You know, the "Give Money" button?

Player trading should work in Dust how it works in actual MMORPGs. Select the player, bring up a trade window, offer up your item, the other player offers up his money, you both have to agree and the deal is sealed.
Although, since the community is so small, they could potentially do a player auction marketboard as most MMOs have, where a player puts an item up for a set price, or bidding system and the winnner gets the gear. This would also change the economy significantly if the Eve gear crafting and mining for resources were actually linked to the dust economy.

That would make too much sense. EVE is infamous for scams.
