I purchased a "Quafe" Amarr Assault BPO a few months ago. What becomes of the suit? Does it turn into a non-Quafe BPO Amarr Assault suit, with a Quafe SKIN module on the side, or does it become just the SKIN module and the suit lost forever?
This has been slightly bugging me for a while now.

DonGÇÖt think so, you paid for a suit BPO, altering or in this case possibly splitting it up as you say is possible i think, but removing an asset people may have paid for is not going to happen. The tears would drown the hamsters.

once all the 'skins' are removed, you will be left with an ugly grey skeletor suit. Oh the memories from closed beta.......
You will still have what you 'paid for', it will just be plain and hideous!

I was hoping the generic BPO would look like this.

From my understanding, you should get a generic BPO + a skin. So you can apply the skin to that BPO or to any other applicable suit. But the way the blog is written, it is safe to assume existing BPOs will not be converted at release of 1.1, but after.

You have a tendency to do 'that', I think. "Well, I do know something but I can't say. So I'll just say 'Well, if you look at what was said, it sure seems like it'." Dunno if I am reading into it too much but I have noticed a lot of the CPM do 'that.'
Anyhoo, will be cool to have my oh-so sexy Caldari Raven Assault be tied to my other Caldari Assaults.

In this case, I am informed by the patch notes, same as you, Joseph. :) I did read the patch notes before they went public, but that is what I read them to mean, and what I assume to be the case.
