What is the state of keyboard and mouse controls / Aiming, not just key/button placement?
Has anything changed? or been updated? how is the aiming in general.

He said that because KB/M is still sh!t. Admittedly I haven't used it in over a year but there's been no mention of it in any of the patch notes, so.... it's a safe bet.
I've got a random blueberry in my corp. Don't know why he wanted to join but I keep him as if he's a pet.

As a MKB user, I can confirm there's been no changes. Since... They added Auto Aim, erm assist for controllers. Ever since the functionality and balance has been the same (okay the AA tweak one month after it was introduced at autumn 2013)
Looking at both sides of the coin.
Even Aurum one.

It is not very good still. It doesn't feel as smooth as an actual keyboard/mouse would be. From what I have read, the mouse simulates a controller rather than being an actual mouse so it feels sticky. On top of this, there is zero aim assist. Aim assist covers up a LOT of the hit detection problems. You know how when you are lagging and your shots have a tendency to just do no damage? That happens all the time with the mouse even with zero lag.
I prefer it, greatly, when using a tank. I feel as if I have more control over my vehicle than with the DS3. I suppose sniping would be the same. However for shooting people, LAV's (no speed control), and especially Dropships the controller is miles ahead.

I tried it for a while, and found it effective for aiming, awkward for everything else. (Remember that unlike controllers, your fingers do everything- you can only really shoot when you strafe, unlike controllers.)
Menu navigation is also a nightmare.

This, so much. If they added cursor support for menus and custom keybindings, I would be absolutely ecstatic!
