If THIS quality in PS4 gaming is already possible then the decision between the two platforms just got even more difficult for DUST...

Quite good gaming PC will cost ~100 bucks more than PS4.
Classic games on Steam/origin cost funny money, PS3 games on PS4 will cost ten times more. No more bull.hit from SONY.

Homie, EA is making the new battlefront game. Please don't get your hopes up too high. I'm not saying don't get excited, because that's fine, but don't expect this game to be amazing. I'm expecting a modern-military-shooter clone with a Star Wars coat of paint.

PC is always easier to develop on. Consoles always see an awkward progression of developers getting more and more used to the hardware before having to port to the next console.
PCs don't have to worry about sudden changes like new consoles coming out- things can slowly be improved. It also takes out the obnoxious middle man (sony)

It also leaves behind everyone in the playerbased that doesn't have a PC, some of whom made the decision not to invest in a PC for valid reasons.
I've played this game with several fathers who play on consoles because the console can also be used by their children, and they didn't want to spend money on a gaming PC rather than more important expenses.
The "good gaming PC for $500" argument has always been full of crap, because you'll be playing current games at less than maximum settings, and as time passes you'll be forced to upgrade as games get more complex and you end up having to set them down to Medium just to get playable frames.
Keep in mind I'm a PC gamer as well as playing consoles, so I'm talking from experience.

And it would also probably get a huge amount of influx of players from EVE. At EVE Vegas, I heard a lot of "wait, I thought DUST was canceled and going to PC?" and "I would play it but I don't have a PS3." If CCP did a Battle.net thing and allowed you to tie your clone to one name, which is what they plan to do, EVE players could play DUST/Legion while waiting for a corp op to happen. You would get 100,000 players to at least try it, many of those players already being nearly fanatical to EVE so they might be willing to look passed any flaws like many current DUST vets do.
Yes, it would suck leaving members of the community behind. However, this is assuming two things:
1. DUST on the PC actually happens.
2. 'DUST' on the PC is more than just a name so our Aurum, BPO's, and Skill Points actually transfer. If that doesn't transfer, every bit of this speculation is pointless.
At the OP: don't ever look at trailers and assume that the game looks that good. Trailer for NBA 2k13 and NBA 2k13 Gameplay. Also, company's have been known to show trailers on super computers under the guise of it being on different system specs. FanFest 2014 was all about Valkyrie and Sony was there to showcase how it looked on PS4 while it was actually running on a PC. "In-Engine Footage" just means "this is what the engine can do" not what it will do once the car is rolling down the streets.
