because the team you're supposed to play against has loads of people back out beforehand so you never play
how you're intended to play so that's not really feeling the full effect of the new matchmaking meaning in a way, it made things worse.
truth be told though, in competitive games everyone dies a lot and NOBODY makes ISK, they're not fun to watch, unless it's PC, other than that the only pub footage you can capture is slaughtering people, who have to be pretty bad.
but who am i kidding, every game BEFORE matchmaking was either:
1) nothing but snipers and tanks
2) people backing out in bucketfuls anyway)
3) half the team not playing or AFKing or generally being useless
4) one team holding the objective for the entire game
5) one team being 200m away from the objective the whole game
6) one team redlining the other.
I'm surprised anyone has anything decent to film in this game anymore. In MAG if I had a capture card back then I could record a decent game once an hour or more, I could get loads out from 1 days playing, whereas with DUST you're lucky to get one decent game to film every couple of days. |

2. You are talking utter BS about the 'random DCing'. I DC very few times, and I have NEVER backed out of a match and claimed to have DC'd. If I back out of a match (which I haven't done for months), I'm honest and say it's because I wasn't able to handle the competition (once again, this hasn't happened in months). What's the point of backing out of a tough match? I'd never get any better if I did that. If anything, you're the one that backs out of matches. You don't even attempt to try to pretend that you DC'd - you just flat-out back out, no shame.
3. Do I like to talk about myself? Well, I don't know where this point is coming from. All I said about myself in what you quoted was 'I don't intend to rejoin just yet though. ' I'd hardly consider that 'bigging myself up'. Show me the quote where I imply that I'm absolutely fantastic and any corp would be lucky to have me, and I'll accept this point as valid.

I agree he is a good player. I have watched his videos like his Quafe Assault M1 with a CR, and that is amazing. I don't care if he stomps noobs, it's standard gear, and they aren't going to rage because they believe they can do the same because same gear. I think that if you simply just stomp in ADV, it'll make newbros more happy because they believe they can do that damage too and not waste ISK.
Back to Sax, he does have good videos, and ones like the nova knifing ones are really intense, proto or no proto. But, even with good non-pro videos, the amount of times he stomps in prototype is rampant. If there are enemy prototype, I'm all for it. But I see [RECRUIT] everywhere and front-line, medic, and AV suits running around shooting with SMGs
