I played with a logi the other day that was repping the hell out of my heavy as well as spamming cores with me. The funny part was when I went down he would just go flying through the air and melee the guys to death and then pick me up.
Several times I found myself staring at the screen after I died in awe of what was happening. |

Road K1ll is the best I've ever known. Edit: Out of 2 1/2 years playing.
Any logi doing logi stuff is a good logi as far as I'm concerned..... logi.... had to even it out.
People that defend exploiting glitches should be permanently banned.

Good logis stick with their team and don't feel the need to make their presence known to enemies, so naturally they wouldn't advertise themselves around the forum as a good logi, as opposed to, say, a slayer.
Which is unfortunately why I can't say I'm a good logi. I put my skillpoints into it but tbh I enjoy rushing out and fighting enemies head on too much, leaving the squad I'm meant to support without that necessary backbone.

'Logistics' is to DUST' what the 'Grenade Launcher' is to 'Call of Duty.'
There is a fairly small gap between decent Logistics and great Logistics because it is so straight forward. Basically anyone can go "shoot the fat guy with this Smile Laser" to make themselves a War Point Pinata. It is really streamlined. You have 2-4 Equipment slots. One should probably be a Repair Tool. The others you choose from: Nanohive, Drop Uplink, Scanner, Nanite Injector, or Remote Explosives. Uplinks and Nanohives are more popular for public games as they work without communication.
Determining "who is the best ADS pilot?" is fairly easy. ADS is not terribly easy to fly, look at the people that can dodge Swarms, Forge Guns, and do a good job taking out an area with Uplinks or Tanks. For the other Dropsuits, you can look at their KD/A or just show footage of them doing their thing. Logistics is completely different though. "I got 8,000 WP!" is more of a "did you fall into that situation?" rather than "did you create it?"
Don't get me wrong; there is a difference between a bad Logistics and a great one, fairly big. There is a difference between Joe Blow Logistics and Godly Logistics, but it is a fairly small one all in all.

Then you arent doing it right. A logi can make a good situation amazing, a bad situation good and a crap situation bearable.
Try fitting out a Min Logi similiar to a Min Assault but without the Kin Cats. Set your uplinks in defensible positions (not always the closest to objectives), Find your fields of fire and stay out of them. Proceed to needle and rep blues while reds get frustrated at running in circles. Beware Core locus spam and angry scouts with R/E's that follow. |

I don't get on much, but I'm in the "Heavy/Logi Funzone" chat
Although, unless you are a boss of a slayer I generally don't pull out my logi fits for randoms.
Miss the days when I could join a squad of sentinels and run around keeping them all alive. Sad that I'm a better heavy than most heavies I rep :/
