This shouldn't be a question, imo, you obviously need both . PS4 for the cool new sheets and PS3 for the cool old sheets.
PS3 still better for movie rentals/tv shows anyways. It will give the option to download, then view, which can preserve the picture quality wheras the PS4 is basically stream only so if theres any little hiccup in the feed you'll see/hear it in whatever you're watching.

Get PS4 I play destiny and Bloodborne all the time. PS2 wasn't all that it's buggier and graphics are worse than dust. I'll probably try it again once it's out of closed beta though

Bloodborne and destiny are good but, to quote one of my favorite game critics Ben "yahtzee" Croshaw, "Those games are good but it does not justify buying a clunky new console with no backwards compatibility."

Dude, the picture is better with streaming on the PS4 but the ability to not stream and instead download (in full) tv and movies is waay better with the PS3. Netflix, Hulu, YT are stream services, wheras the movie rentals or episode purchases thru PSStore give the option (on PS3).
Streaming is always subject to connection, downloading only needs that connection while downloading, once thats complete the material is there in full.
I quit paying for cable years ago, tv in my house is my Playstation and the fastest internet my ISP can get me.
