I dont know how other people feel but im getting tired of seeing the same 4 walls in my Caldari merc quarter. Would like to be aible to swap quarters or actually completely new ones. Maybe a pirate faction/jove/navy/drifter fashionised merc quarter? I dont want to have just a paintjob for my room i want a completely different design.
Stuff like a firing range vs test dummies etc. Maybe you can copy pasta COD:AW? Where when you edit a fitting and press start you get to the firing range. Maybe put a supply depot next to it so you can change suits etc. It should look similar like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqDwu3YolmU
The targets should have shield+ armor so you can see how a weapon performs before playing the game.

Funny joke. It took CCP (eve) a ton of time to get just one 'captains quarters' setup done, along with the new character creator and with the incarna riots & monoclegate they've been terrified to touch it ever since. What we get are chopped down versions of captains quarters (which don't change in eve beyond being respective to the race of the station you're in).
Different merc quarters / captains quarters / pre-match warbarge space or even the ability to move around your own warbarge are hilariously unlikely to ever come about. Even if they did it would only be if ccp saw incredible amounts of money in it and it would still be slow.
When Eve Pilots choose to dock they're locked in the same rooms that we are and there are no public spaces for them to interact with other players even.
That said it would be cool to create and run your own little social pub area.

Here here. I want an Amarrian MQ. It's the best one in my opinion, it looks grand and well built. The Gallente one is ok too I guess if you like clinical boring space age looks.
The Caldari one is ... typical Caldari - Function over Form.
The Minmatar just have a rusty shack.
By the way you guys bring up an important crucial point - How both DUST and EVE (supposedly MMO`s of sorts) have yet to impliment a large social area is beyond me..... it would be awesome to be able to log in and check a "Corp Quarters" to see what my corp mates are doing.

Over the past i've been in 3 quarters on my main.
I started with Caldari, then i was in gal somehow [that was truely terrible expirience] and finally i ended up in Amarr quarters which is the best looking in my opinion.
What i'm saying is you should be happy that you're not in Min/gal quarters.
