I had my doubts and really hesitated on posting this thing but I was curious if there really was any brony out there and trust me, I've searched everywhere in game and everything is ded (<- intentional). But that's off topic, I would argue with you about Bronies being their own fandom from furries and how not all Bronies carry around huge ass dolls of their favorite pony but I understand that we as humans will stick to our beliefs no matter what, so really I'd be a pointless argument and a waist of both our time. I find myself to be a decent person, yes, I partake in the Brony fandom and I post brony art and all that, but I dont sit on my ass all day and watch ponies, I'm not obese and if you're wondering, yes, I live with my parents but only because I'm too young to leave the house (Highschool freshman) take a wild guess at how old I am. Sometimes, its just better to be a fluttershy and stay quiet with a smile. Bro fist? :) I am not trying to pick on you, I was unaware of your age (and the influences it might play on your emotional maturity) but I do have to say that you should really find a healthier outlet for yourself and the emotional acceptance you crave than the brony 'community'. It's never too early to get a gym membership or participate in like a million other significantly more 'healthy' groups. Most of us here were young once, and while it's okay to like what you like, you can cause yourself a ton of unwarranted grief by attaching yourself to something with a lot of negativity already around it and making yourself stick out like a sore thumb.
So what if I stick out like a sore thumb? Is it wrong to be different? And about the emotional thing, what outlet? I'm part of the brony fandom/community because ponies, the shoe, the artwork, and the music appeal to me, I like it. Yes, I do have some MLP merchandise of my own, some that I've made by hand and others that I've bought but is it really that different from buying a modle of the Assault Rifle from Dust 514 and hanging it up from the wall? Its not that I dont feel accepted but its more like trying to find others on dust that are comfortable talking about MLP with me, finding somebody that has common interests with me.
Dont get me wrong, I appreciate your concern for my physical/mental health, but I'm not damaged or in any way broken. I'm a normal guy who likes miniature horses. The whole "MLP isn't healthy" thing is false, its like saying that Gamers are anti social or that video games cause mass shootings, which you and me, as gamers, is false. You should know the crap we get for being gamers, but does all that crap cause you mental issues because you aren't accepted by some co-workers at your job (I'm just guessing that you have one, if you don't its totally fine)
Now I know that Games and Ponies are two different things but gaming in seen as a bad thing amongst the media (news, tv, etc) for example, have you ever seen those Youtube vids of some kid yelling at his mother because he doesn't want to get off his console to do something or that his time limit has been reached? Makes gaming look bad doesn't it? Same thing for MLP, you ever see those pictures of obese 30 year old men with an XXL MLP shirt and carrying a huge ass Pinkie Pie plushy around in public? Makes Bronies look bad doesn't it? I believe that your a good person and a highly intelligent one at that, you dont yell at your parents and I dont think that you sit on your ass all day playing video games, yet the world sees you as that gamer stereotype. I dont go out in public wearing my MLP shirt and carry my Luna plushy with but I'm stuck with the Brony stereotype of a fat ass who eats all day, watches MLP all day, and clops the night away... Do you see what I'm getting at?

Hey bro, if you like that show, then fine and dandy for you. Both of you folks make some decent points. I am sure there are some normal folks that like that show, just like there are normal gamers. The problem is the folks that are obsessed with it. Being obsessed with anything is not healthy; whether its food, sex, girls, games, work, or even working out. Everything in moderation.

You're absolutely right but my point is that the stereotypes of Bronies is an incorrect interpretation of our fandom, those stereotypes are the small majority that obsess over it... Every fandom has their bad apples and those are usually the ones who are largely known...

Pretty sure he is. He's in CAP. Probably wouldn't join your Corp FYI. He's loyal.

Do you like anime? You should join the public chat Anime Empire. Lots of cool people in there. Just because you don't wear the same tag doesn't mean you can't play with cool people and have friends who'll back you. :)

When I was a teenager I watched Gummy Bears and Thunder Cats...
Incidentally, one of the 4 founders of the Learning Coalition was a Brony. I have been told many times that "Friendship is magic!"
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.
