I thought components where one of the few items that you would not be able to trade?
Can I haz ur ISK?

If they are going to eventually open up trading full on, just allow it all.

I don't think components will ever intentionally be able to be traded, you'll just have to wait for the patch that breaks it

I say, if you have a commodity that someone else will pay for, it has value, and should be allowed to be traded.
The sun will still rise and DUST will still plod towards it's inevitable PS3 death.
But until then, if you going to have an economy, let's have a big boy economy.

Alright, if you've had an alt accruing passive SP since Uprising 1.0 it's going to hold ~17m SP. If you had the foresight to set up 16 accounts you now have 48 profiles worth a collective 816m skill points. Several people could basically win Dust if all you need is something like 260m SP to fill out the current skill tree. It would break the game horribly to facilitate these kinds of farms if it was a 1 to 1 transfer.

I understand what you are saying, Jadek.
But in any economy, real or digital, there are always going to be outliers on the graph, extreme examples.
But they would be few and far between.
If your example allows a handful to "win" at DUST, I couldn't possibly be bothered to care any less.
But think of all the interesting scenarios, deals, etc it would provide for.
Open it up and let's have fun. The game isn't going to break.

Honestly, who cares if some farm? I donGÇÖt have the energy to farm 16 accounts nor the time. I think scratching my eyeballs with acid covered stick sounds more pleasurable past time than that. If someone is willing to spend hours on end cycling through characters colleting and sending crap to different places, I say for the love of god let them. ThatGÇÖs their way of playing the game.
There wouldnGÇÖt be a lot of those farmers anyway. Yes some would try it for a day or two but most would give up. It is tedious and time consuming. Some would make it big but again, who cares?
