In game I tried to create my own channel but every time I attempted I got this message: "You are not permitted to create a channel".
Anyone know wtf this is?

Dust players can't 'close' channels that they've created... which limits them to making exactly 7 channels over their character life.
Our ability to manage channels is horrible.

Given that it's enough to make a typo when joining a channel to create a new one, I wonder how many "forsaken" Dust channels there are on Tranquility right now. |

I did not think that DUST channels were even persistent. As in, if there is no EVE player in the channel, and all DUST members of the channel are offline, I thought the channel ceased to exist, in the sense that an EVE player could then create a channel of the same name while you were offline and gain ownership of that channel. I could be wrong on that, but that is what I was told long ago.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.
