PS2 is still better then dust though. 19 game of the year awards. Proof is in the pudding. I don't like the ttk in PS2 either. Some people just don't like the BF gun mechanics and feel of the game. It's not for everyone but saying it's a bad game because of lower TTK isn't really accurate. The fact the aim assist is not working there is awesome imo. TTK is really a preference. The argument that dust is better because of RDVs/MCCs i cant really get behind.. I dont have to worry when flying in PS2 about stupid sht like RDV or null cannons collisions.. The MCC is a novelty that did not live up to it's player owned expectations.. also there is no automated turret cheese in PS2. not saying PS2 is the perfect game, it's not. It has its pros and cons. You have to play it more than a day to see actual communication. The game begins to shine when you actually coordinate, which sometimes you have to do outside the game. . Most on Kotlyr (academy) do not communicate. I doubt you would want to hear them anyway, it's mostly a rage fest. But saying that the communication in dust is any better is kinda going off the deep end. 90% of dust pub match mic noise is total trash.. like PS2, dust shines when your with the right people. it takes some networking outside of the game to network with other team players. The fact i'm not grinding isk i do not miss one bit. If i wanna call another power unit i just wait or do something else. it's like comparing apples to watermelons.. but it won't survive on console. low TTK players are a minority and like in dust beta we will soon be phased out when they decide to target a "broader" audience. the TTK here used to be a lot lower when MD could 5-6 shot kill a heavy and sniper rifles weren't some joke. i dont see the lower TTK lasting long on console in it's current form, which is dissapointing to me but expected. You still get in circle strafes and 1 v 1 dances they are just less frequent. but... i have to buy hardline to network/ally with my coworkers who aren't down with beta XP wipes and i talked them into downloading dust which forever reason only held their interest for about 3 days.

Let's make a list of things that I like about Dust Its ttk is pretty good, you need skill to fight 1 vs 1 with full proto or sometimes STD vs STD As a fiction game it's great that you can use different weapons of 4 races You can customize your dropsuits adapting it to your game playing Etc... Now let's start with MGSO It had many maps that were pretty good You needed time and dedication to train whatever you wanted to train There where many game modes that were super funny like the stealth hunting (i can't remember its real name) Etc... MAG 256 players in one battle A ton of medals to achieve Sabo, Dom, aqu, and interdiction were game modes that I loved Kicking the ass of 32 guys from the same corp in fake clan battles was priceless A lot of complexity by attacking and defending strategically in some game modes and maps Etc... That is just a little list of things that I loved about those games but as there are good things there are bad and terrible things. Mgso There were groups of #### that if you own them really hard they called all their ##### and you were insta kicked from many many games Sometimes the lagg was horrible Camping was all of that game in some "pro" matches Snipers were super annoying with the instagank glitch Mag Sometimes was unplayable because of the lag Plenty of blue berries. And in here was no excuse, because at lvl 1 everybody with some skills and patience was able to have a KDR of 3 There always existed a stupid preference of Sver maps. If we compare valor and raven maps looks like zipper made them with the ####. Dust Stupid memory of ps3 I didn't meet the old devs, but looks like they were a bunch of ##### (i say that because I have read many angry guys and also heard) as I said I didn't read the forums till I won the officer weapons. Thing that many guys in here know In chromosome sometimes was laggy as #### Proto teddies in full sqds are really annoying, that with a plus of ppl that don't even try to get the objective and just leave As you can see I can keep things and things. So to me there is no "better than" because all of them had their awesome things and bad things. At the end I prefer DUST over Mgso, mag, cod, bf and etc because I can do what in other games is impossible doing it properly "lone wolf" ttk and customize your dam character as stupidly as you want. Now let's start with MGSO It had many maps that were pretty good You needed time and dedication to train whatever you wanted to train There where many game modes that were super funny like the stealth hunting (i can't remember its real name) Etc... MAG 256 players in one battle A ton of medals to achieve Sabo, Dom, aqu, and interdiction were game modes that I loved Kicking the ass of 32 guys from the same corp in fake clan battles was priceless A lot of complexity by attacking and defending strategically in some game modes and maps Etc... That is just a little list of things that I loved about those games but as there are good things there are bad and terrible things. Mgso There were groups of #### that if you own them really hard they called all their ##### and you were insta kicked from many many games Sometimes the lagg was horrible Camping was all of that game in some "pro" matches Snipers were super annoying with the instagank glitch Mag Sometimes was unplayable because of the lag Plenty of blue berries. And in here was no excuse, because at lvl 1 everybody with some skills and patience was able to have a KDR of 3 There always existed a stupid preference of Sver maps. If we compare valor and raven maps looks like zipper made them with the ####. Dust Stupid memory of ps3 I didn't meet the old devs, but looks like they were a bunch of ##### (i say that because I have read many angry guys and also heard) as I said I didn't read the forums till I won the officer weapons. Thing that many guys in here know In chromosome sometimes was laggy as #### Proto teddies in full sqds are really annoying, that with a plus of ppl that don't even try to get the objective and just leave As you can see I can keep things and things. So to me there is no "better than" because all of them had their awesome things and bad things. At the end I prefer DUST over Mgso, mag, cod, bf and etc because I can do what in other games is impossible doing it properly "lone wolf" ttk and customize your dam character as stupidly as you want. With this "deep" explanation I hope it is clearer. While I respect you opinion I just don't agree. The game play is still half assed after all this time. Which is very important to most people. MMO aspects are cool and all but the gameplay is just sad and I feel there are so many better games. It's cool that some vets are still getting enjoyment out of the game. Most already left. kudo's to you for sticking around all this time. That's dedication no matter what I think about the game.
