What is the difference between a mercenary wallet and a master wallet I know that the master wallet is used for Eve players to send money but why can't I access it?

afaik master wallet is the corp wallet, merc is yours, and there's no way to send ISK from EVE to Dust or the other way around.

that doesn't make any sense because my friend sent money from his Eve player to the corporation as a donation and now we can't take it out of the master wallet but it is in the Merc wallet there is 20 1,000,000 and then the master there is 70 million

DUST economy isn't integrated into EVE. So the master wallet is unavailable DUST side.
In order for your buddy to get his ISK back you need to make him a director with master wallet access. Or log onto EVE, make your character CEO and hand your friend back his ISK.
You cannot transfer EVE ISK to DUST or DUST ISK to EVE.
Period.
End.
Stop.
No exceptions Unless CCP figures out how to integrate the Economies Without breaking DUST

Mercenary is for Dust players, Master is for eve players.
If Dust players could access the master wallet, it could break the game, like it did in beta.
