Who decide it would be cool for the scout to be the slowest? Any logi\assault can easily backup faster than a scout can move forward... Dont even get me started on strafe speed and the nonstop wall of scrambler fire... |

Kincats only affect sprint speed going forward.
They do not affect forwards or backwards walking speed.

MinAssault with 4 kincats: 10.81m/s
And, like One Eye said, this only effects sprint speeds. Walk/strafe is fixed. Don't fit armor plates and you won't see reduced walk/strafe speed.

Correct they do not effect 'walk' speed just sprint which you can only do forward.
Would suggest adding one but considering hit detection is bad; i will refrain.

I think it was hotfix echo that made everyone backpedal at 85% movement speed. One of the reasons CCP did this was so nova knifers (mostly scouts) could take out targets easier with NK rushes. That's a buff, not a nerf.
