Honestly, I don't know what else I am supposed to do other than let a tank kill me, because its apparently OK for that tank to not have any fears from an single AV, but is perfectly capable of running down someone even if they try and use cover simply because of their speed and easy of killing.

I don't know, a lot of players have seemed to figure out how to swarm without being easily touched. Try the third dimension. If a tank isn't going to come near enough a high point or building then I don't see how it is even enough of a threat to worry about having to AV it.

This would encourage arnor tanks to actually use armor plates which are pretty much none existent to armor vehichles atm

Works pretty well unless they run away before their hardeners run out. If you shoot at them prematurely, they run anyways. Get 'em when they're weak.
