Just part of an ongoing series of guides available at biomassed.net. This particular guide is obviously focused more on newer players, but basic and advanced guides as well as reference material is already in the works. One thing we're going to be working very hard at is ensuring these posts stay updated, so that people no longer have to look at scattered sources for this sort of information.

How hard would it be to have a guided rail basic familiarization tutorial with a voice giving instructions? Something like a 10 minute familiarization rollercoaster.
A basic guide mission woukd fix 90% of the NPE.

No. A basic in-game mission that people have the option of running at aany time for learning the first time or as a refresher.

You should cover weapon optimal/effective/absolute ranges in the next one you do. That's the #1 thing I see new players get hung up on (they'll be ADSing with an SMG at 80m).
Best PvE idea ever!
