the regulator is as usefull as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. lol a few reasons why. 1 they are a high slot while the dropsuits is a low slot. why the change? 2 cpu/pg are opposite of dropsuits ones. ei high cpu but low pg cost. right now they cost more than a adv damage mod. 3 delay rate on tanks is 4 & 10 for shield tanks, 6 & 15 for armor tanks and shield LAVS. (really ccp?) 8 & 20 for armor lavs?! 4 HERE IS A BIG ONE-NO WAY TO INCREASE SHIELD RECHARGE RATE! on a shield tank it is 126 while a shield lav has 285?! (fyi shield lavs have 600 shield!) armor LAV has 132 that is higher than a shield tank! WTF?! LOL an armor dropship has 104! |

what about 3 and 4? a mean if we have shield regulators then please give us shield recharges. look the ARMOR lav has a higher shield recharge rate than a shield tank! |

NO answer from the CPM? I am not surprised. here is another point to a unless skill or needs a touch up. along with my points 3 & 4. Vehicle Shield Regeneration-5% reduction to DEPLETED shield recharge delay per level. so it don't really help most shield vehicles unless they have a bit of armor to get away so their shield come back soon but with shield tanks it is POINTLESS. why? well shield tanks shield recharge rate is 126 per sec (point 4 above) after a 10 second delay so 7.5 with that skill maxed. it is easier and faster to have a shield booster on than the regulator since they are both high slots. |

In fact, go trawl through 1.1 Dev blog feedbqck, like page 4 or so found it but he never said delayed but was hoping to get a hotfix in before 1.1

ok hmm so the tanks has the lowest shield recharge rate of all vehicles. why? I kinda understand for the armor tanks but still an armor dropship has 22 less shield recharge rate than a shield tank? better yet an armor lav has a higher recharge rate than the shield tank and it has the lowest base shields. LOL MY FAVORITE one is the shield LAV who has the highest recharge rate but the second lowest base shields.hmm what do you think of switching the LAVs and HAVs recharge rates?
so why give us vehicle shield regulators which are messed up without fixing the shield recharge rates first |

Not perfect, but pretty robust.
not bad but the shield regulator is still messed up. the dropsuits ones are high CPU and low PG usage but on vehicles it is medium CPU & high PG. plus even with a complex shield regulator there is no way to increase the shield recharge rate. just look.
delay rate on tanks is 4 & 10 for shield tanks, 6 & 15 for armor tanks and shield LAVS. even using a complex reg on a shield tank, it is a 2.6 seconds. swarms can hit ever 2.5 to 3 seconds. so you get luck if you get a full 126 back. I would love a shield recharger that boosts the rate from 126 by the same % as a dropsuit recharger. the proto give you 45% even better the energizer at 65% but at a lost of max shields 6%. that would boost it too 182.7 & 207.9 - 6% total shields. that would not be OP just look at the shield lav of 285. |

so does my tanker alt. again even with 2 it is really not good without a way to increase shield recharge rate. ok on your tank you use 2 regs so shield recharge delay is 1.81 & shield recharge dep. delay is 3.07 & with 1 you times are 2.6 & 4.61 but with 126 shield recharge rate it is only half of an answer to a 2 part problem. how often do you live with no shields? I bet rarely since you have only 900 armor. just think if you had a complex shield recharger like the dropsuits. the recharge would be 126 times 45% (not counting the 10% from the skill) your recharge rate would be 182.7. that is a lot better for a tank. lets say we get the 10% extra now it is 195.3. so yea I want that on my shield tank. I mean think of all the new ways you could set up tanks. do you at least see my point of not having the same ability to have a way to increase your shield recharger rate? |
