Reply: Were sorry! Lag is a permanent fixture in Dust. If it has'nt been fixed in two years........ Have you tried the fixes?
Step one: DELETE all your friends in contact..... You dont need any friends anyway.
Step two: Never play Skirm/FW. Any map with more then one objective is just asking for trouble.
Step three: Add a lag switch so YOU can control when you want to lag.
Step four: Get a real big screw driver and pop your ps3 open. Put some toothpaste under your CPU.

Sad part is, they'll try some half-assed method and see if it works. It probably won't help much, then we go back to low frame rates. Can't really blame them, though. Do you really expect them to fix it so soon with enough devs to count on one hand? |

since I change the thermal paste of my Little Fatty... only in a few maps have low framerate.
Gallente Facility (The Fatty Map)
socket with 4 objetives, 2 inside a city 2 outside...
Even the "Mousehole" (caldari facility) I can play smoothy... also delete you game... and install a "fresh" version. (my old file has almost 6.8gb !!! ... now is 2.1gb)

The visual stuttering is a combination of low frame rates and lag. You should do everything you can to optimize both. For low frame rates, keep your PS 3 clean from a system and physical perspective. I replaced the thermal paste and keep an additional fan pointed at my PS3. From a lag perspective, I use a wired connection with port forwarding. I also yell at my wife to stop streaming video when I'm playing PC, with mixed results... |
