Min FW hasn't seen real competition in months and they are soft, perfect for enslaving. Also the reason is that throughout FW's history everyone has won and lost. That's how it works however we still don't have a model that encourages people to play it, rewards them for loyalty, and encourages groups to join the loosing factions like they do in EVE.
