My first attempt to start some Dust/EvE fan fiction. I have never written a story with dialogue so I am sure there are grammar mistakes =P. I was thinking of making this a series. Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoyed creating it.
The massive Caldari war barge begins to drop out of warp. The first ship of her class. She is much larger than the personal barges most Mercenaries are accustomed to. The bulkheads begin to shake and shutter as the warp field begins to collapse. The brilliant blue shifted light around the barge slowly starts to subside
The bridge of the ship is massive and filled with a myriad of electronics. A Caldari female wearing a ck.0 assault suit presses a few commands on the console in front of her near a section labeled GÇ£Battle CommandGÇ¥. A tall, bald headed Caldari male with distinct Deteis traits walks in through heavy blast doors and heads over to a hologram in the center of the bridge. The back of his head and neck covered in input ports and cybernetics. His eyes glow blue as he walks over with a certain unwavering confidence.
With heavy thuds the female walks over. She stops and begins to manipulate the hologram as the Deteis male looks it over with precise intent. He speaks GÇ£Agrona I presume?GÇ¥ The female Caldari ignores the question. A few moments pass and she looks up. Her helmet deconstructs to reveal a stunning Civire woman. GÇ£That would be me. I take it you are the pod pilot that will be running weapons control.GÇ¥ He slightly eases his stance. GÇ£My name is KikenGÇ¥ Agrona starts walking towards the bridge exit with Kiken at her side. "We will be deploying shortly."
They both exit the bridge via a tram running the length of the ship. They pass through a massive cargo and manufacturing area. HAV's, LAV's and drop ships in various stages of construction line the floor. Kiken states GÇ£I have to say that I am Impressed. Do you think this will work?GÇ¥ The first officer opens ship wide comms. GÇ£All Hands, four minutes to warp field collapse. Secure all equipment and armaments. Engineering prepare for Siege.GÇ¥ Agrona responds. GÇ£It will work.GÇ¥ Kiken looks over to her. GÇ£I admire your confidence. If everything goes to plan, the strategists will be talking about this for years.GÇ¥
The tram passes a large bulkhead and enters the large drop bay. Several clone reanimation units are poised and ready to launch. Dozens of bolas class heavy lift craft are already linked up to vehicles. The tram stops at an observation platform overlooking the bay. Ship comms open. GÇ£One minute to warp field collapse.GÇ¥ They both step off as Agrona heads over to a command console. GÇ£Squad leaders you have been briefed. I expect nothing short of top performance!GÇ¥ Kiken walks over to her. "Do you think the orbital defenses will be much of a threat?"
Agrona cracks a small smile that is uncharacteristic of a Caldari in a serious setting. GÇ£That's the beautiful part. Nobody has ever seen a war barge of this class. With false registration and top of the line electronic warfare they, will think we are a cargo freighter. During the confusion we will disable the fluid router. And shut down the defense gridGÇ¥ Her helmet reconstructs. GÇ£I need to deploy to the burn zone.GÇ¥ She walks off and enters a nearby lift.
Ship comms open up GÇ£ Warp field collapse in five seconds, four, three, two, one, zero!GÇ¥ The barge shakes and jolts as it drops out of warp. GÇ£All stop! Siege green five cycles!GÇ¥ Klaxons wail and warning lights flash as the bay doors open from the bottom of the barge. Arcs of energy bounce through the ships armor plating as the strontium begins to burn. The CRU's drop with the Mercenaries quickly following suit.
Kiken walks over to the tram and enters the destination to the weapons control room. He smiles. GÇ£The Gallente don't stand a chance.GÇ¥

MOAR! I like this a lot.
Good slow set up, some simple and recognisable characters, you've explained the premise of the plot and not gone over board.

And with strange aeons even death may die.GÇ¥

Glad you like it. I am toying around with different points of view from different characters. I am doing my research on EvE and Dust Lore to try and keep this story as accurate as possible. I should have more stuff up later. Constructive criticism is very welcome.

Trying my hand at some scene transitions. Rather than complicate the story with other characters I think I will focus on the two main characters and perhaps add a couple more at a later time.
Part 2
GÇ£Four hundred thousand meters.GÇ¥ Agrona's voice cracks over the drop suit comms. GÇ£Three hundred and fifty thousand metersGÇ¥. She and 23 of her best mercenaries scream through the atmosphere. Their suits begin to glow red hot as the air gets thicker. Agrona looks through her HUD, and with a few eye movements diverts reserve power to shields. She notices power spikes near the drop area as Gallente anti-air defenses start on-lining. GÇ£Damn, it's too soon. Change of plans, all squads prepare to hit your dampers at five thousand. We are dropping in hot!GÇ¥
The tram quickly moves through the bowels of the barge. The mid ship ammunition magazine is undoubtedly the most protected area on the ship. Honeycombed with reinforced tritanium, it stands out from the otherwise spartan look that all Caldari ships have. Kiken looks over to one of the many citadel cruise missiles being loaded. He knows the citadel launcher retrofit caused considerable drain on the ship's CPU and he will have a critical role to play.
He checks under his jacket to ensure that his magsec is secured as the tram stops. Before him is a large door flanked by bio-hazard warnings with a retinal scanner off to the right. Kiken walks over and scans his eyes. Aurora the ship's AI greets him. GÇ£Access granted.GÇ¥ With a loud hiss the door opens into a white hallway. As he enters the door closes behind him.
Agrona opens up her comms. GÇ£Sixty thousand metersGÇ¥, the air whistles and rushes by the drop suits. The CRU's Fire their braking thrusters as the Mercs drop past them. GÇ£FortyGÇ¥, drop suit armor plating begins to cool off. With a loud thud they pass the sound barrier. GÇ£ThirtyGÇ¥, air brakes extend from the suits. The metal groans and shakes from the massive forces.
Gallentean anti-air fire fills the sky with mesmerizing bolts of deadly ion charges. Multiple CRU's are shot out of the sky causing large explosions. GÇ£Hit it!GÇ¥ They rapidly slow down and hit the ground with loud thuds. Dust is kicked up as they land. Obscuring the area. A few moments pass as the dust settles. Three Gallente soldiers stand in front of Agrona, shocked by what just happened. The last thing they see looked like a demon from hell, as she stood over their broken corpses.
