I'm good with Call of Duty but on this game, I'm really bad at surviving. I keep on dying if I get a kill. Can anyone tell or suggest what I can do to improve? Also, I'm kinda good on shooting; sometimes I can never finish an enemy. How can I improve that too? Sensitivity? Better Guns? Better armor?

Choose your playstyle. This could be recon, frontline slayer, medic, equipment dropper, heavy, etc.
Pick the weapon you like that goes with your playstyle.
Now pick the dropsuit that works with both your playstyle and weapon. For example, if you're a slayer who likes the combat rifle, you'd probably use the Minmatar Medium Frames, and eventually, the Minmatar Assault suits.
Now skill into core skills to support your dropsuit. These are in the dropsuit upgrades section of your skills, and include armour skills, shield skills, biotics and electronics/engineering. Basically, the skills that give you passive bonuses.
In terms of gun-game, I can offer no assistance there, I'm pretty bad myself. Just have fun, try things but don't spread your skill points too thinly; find something you really like (try everything with militia gear first since that has no skill requirements), and stick with it until you start noticing you're killing instead of being killed.

Thanks but I also have problems which gun i should use. I already know that my playstyle is Frontline Slayer. I still have the minmatar assault dropsuit and yea. I might like Assault Rifles too. Suggest me good assault rifle guns.

You'll have to find one that 'clicks' with you.
Assault rifles (or as they should be known - blaster/plasma rifles) are short range (~40m mark) high dps weapons. Better vs shield than armor. They have a lot of variant styles that emulate other weapons (tactical = emulates scrambler and its traits, breach emulates rail and its traits, burst emulates combat and its traits)
Combat rifles (Projectile rifles) are the second shortest range (~50m IIRC) with slightly lower dps, better against armor than shield. Assault variant emulates the assault rifle and its traits.
Scrambler rifles are the second highest range weapon and one of the highest damage per second rifles but it comes with the drawback of potentially overheating and seizing for several seconds. The standard variant has the special ability to perform charged shots for multiplicative damage. Amazing vs shield, less amazing vs armor.
Rail rifle is the longest range and technically the lowest dps, but it projects it over twice the distance of the basic assault rifle. Less good vs shield, better vs armor.

This game is different than CoD.
It has RPG like leveling aspects that have a tremendous effect on the game.
Being new, you have 1m SP more or less, and are competing with people that have 20 to 30 milion easily, many having 50 to 80 million.
This affects your speed, the amount of HP you have, the amount of damage you do, even if you are using the same gear as a veteran.
You can have a better gun game, but if you are new, more often than not that advantage is overshadowed by the SP difference.
I suggest getting in touch with Dust University, as they are a great corp for teaching new players.
Otherwise, it is always a good idea to create Alts (Alternate Characters) for the purposes of skilling into weaponry you want to try and testing it out there, then you will have an idea of what guns and skills suit your play style best.

A new player will find there is a large gap between your character and veteran players that have spent millions of skill points on improving their character's stats. However, if you spend your skill points wisely you can narrow that gap quickly by putting your early points into skills that increase your Armor and Shields, or give you access to modules which make your suit tougher or allow you to do more damage. (See my Getting Started guide linked below.)
A few million skill points should be enough to narrow the gap enough that if you have a better gun game you will be able to beat better skilled/equipped Vets who don't shoot as well as you.
Once you hit about 12 million skill points, if you have specialized in your role, you should be very competitive against even equally skilled players.
Once you have about 20 million skill points in a role no one will be better than you at what you do. If someone has 80 million skill points, it just means that they can do a lot of different roles well, but since they can only play one role at a time, once you hit around 20 million you will be as good any Vet in your chosen role.

Everything else feels like tissue paper after that - you get shot in an advanced assault, go to run behind a wall and...sometimes you get behind the wall! Sometimes you return fire and...live!
In standard, militia, you'll have barely registered being hit before you die. |

Assault is what I commonly use,I mostly use a starterfit,though tactically in battle,I can actually get up to 10-15 kills per battle. Here's my rules during battlein 5 easy steps: 1.always assume your being watched,plan ahead for any unknown situations in a firefight,basically expect the unexpected,and adjust your tactics according to the situation at hand,if need be,alternate between tactics to keep your enemy guessing what tactics you will use,and the tactics you will actually use to get into your enemy's head(an actual military tactic).I used this tactic to take out an entire squad of 5 in proto gear trying to take D in domination,I relied on my cloak equipped with my proto assault gear for this,basically I attacked,then cloacked,observed my opponents while invisible(step 2) then adjusted my tactics to thin out there numbers,while destroying uplinks,to keep others from sending backup,until my team could get there to help. 2.observe your opponent during hand to hand(1vs1),look for any mistakes he will make,(I find this very helpful,I actually look at my opponents character movements and adjust my tactics according to the mistakes they make in their movements.)example:he runs at you head on with novaknives,you jump 5 feet to the side,then pull out ion pistol,aim(no ads) without thinking(have your hands in sync with the controller your using when pressing buttons[for me I'm in a trance,my mind reacts quicker,especially when listening to hard rock,I eventually block out all other thoughts,sounds,and doubt's])before he can turn around and counterattack. 3.don't rush into a firefight without thinking ahead,chances are 90% of the time you'll get shot in the back immediately.I've seen this happen countless times. 4. Don't use the same tactic more than once on the same person,they'll quickly figure out a way to counter your tactic,success the first time or not,and may also relay the solution for countering it to teammates if in squad. 5.Constantly observe your battlefield for danger,if you spot a threat,report its position to your team,so they can get a counter attack,or defense in place,basically teamwork.

What's even the point? Cloaks aren't good in combat anymore, just for hacking **** and crossing LDAs.

And with the incredibly high fitting costs, you are better off going Dampeners and playing a stealthy game with some HP on it (or kincats for speed, or Myos for jumps) than using a cloak.
Even with EQ, you can go Hives, REs, or Scanners and be better off than fitting the cloak.
The only reason I use one is because I run 200 to 300 HP on a scout suit, and even then I resent it.

Cloaks aren't good in combat anymore, just for hacking **** and crossing LDAs. actually not many people pay attention to cloaks,sure there at a few people out there that are smart enough to notice me,but as I said,I use the 5 rules to survive,especially in 1v1 combat,I've actually managed to take out two to three people out in close combat,yes the suit is low on HP and shields,you can survive any situation in a fair fight using these rules,it just requires a great amount of concentration and skill to do so,especially with low HP suits,I use the cloaks for its intended purpose, stealth,to support my team covertly,and the assault adds a sort of shock and awe to players who don't expect to come face to face with a cloaked assault player,they will usually panic when they realize your a proto that just decloaked behind them in the middle of a firefight where you took out half their HP in front of them while they gave you a hard time in killing them,only to fail when they let their gaurd down expecting you to be behind the cover you ran to to heal,and end up turning around only to be killed by novaknives,and then you take out their entire team as a single player,the rules are just to survive on the battlefield, remember, tools,suits,and weapons are only as good as the players skill at combat,tactics,and survival,a starter fit can eventually deal a killing blow to a full proto if you have the skill to survive long enough to take down his shields to zero,and his armor to 1hp,hell likely panic when he realizes you,a starter have the upperhand tactically in the fight,and make a mistake in combat allowing you to land the final blow(not so high and mighty now,are you protostomper.xD) Yeah... Cloaks on assaults are bad, the situation you described doesn't happen drake - ever. They are visual only and most suits can pick you up easily on passive scans... you spend a huge amount of CPU & PG to fit a cloak that doesn't actually provide you any real benefit. It is a flat nerf to your suit and it only 'works' against bad players (anything works against bad players).
Also, holy run-on sentences, textwalls, comma-splicing and no use of spaces after comma's.

No it is not an 'opinion'. It is a fact based on overwhelming empirical evidence that cloaks on assaults are bad. You can enjoy playing 'bad' fits all you want, but that doesn't mean they're not bad.
