So the breach mass driver has almost no Pres nice at all in the game. I think we can breathe some life into it.
I think the breach should be about accuracy. While the assault is more of hitting a large area, the breach can be about hitting 1 person, maybe 2. So let's increase projectile speed of the breach by 50%, and flatten the trajectory by the same amount. This .makes direct hits much easier, and it still isn't as good at hitting multiple targets with the low ROF and low splash radius.

Make it shoot like the plasma cannon with a lower RoF than a regular MD and tweak the direct/splash damage a bit. I'd like to see how it works then.
EDIT: Also, make it have a noticeable AV capability.

you'd have to give it 140% efficiency vs. vehicles or it's dead weight. really not worth it.
Or give it a massive alpha buff.
One of the two. Either way, it has to be redesigned for AV unless it's intended as an LAV popper only

I wouldn't mind seeing the Breach MD turn into an AV weapon. +1.

Definitely the potential there for a good LW AV option with some adjustments. Would kinda like to see AV efficiency upped on the Breach Flaylock, too, not enough to solo anything, but useful for the final blow on a heavily wounded vehicle trying to run.
Reality is the original Rorschach.
