If anyone wanting to play starts to queue at the hour or the half hour there is a much higher chance of games actually starting. This way at least we can get 2 games an hour with a quick bush or coffee between. Synchronise watches.

If you're searching for FW and see 00:00, you aint gonna find a game, as no one is playing it on the other factions. Ive queued for 45 minuted on Caldari FW with LHughes and we never deployed, around 15:30 Eve Time. Also, Eve Time = Greenwich Mean Time. So for us Brits its either the same time as our clocks, or 1 hour behind when we're in BST like right now. Most Europeans are 1-3 hours ahead of that so we struggle to find FW matches until the 'Muricans flood in at around 22:00 ET. This thread hurts my head. The 00:00 timer has conditioned players to think that there is no chance of getting a match. All it takes is enough players queuing. Once upon a time we could get FW matches less than 60 mins after downtime because players had the confidence to queue for a few minutes and get a match. Now every one is conditioned to think 00:00 means no games are possible now and "FW doesn't start until 'murica o'clock" so there's no point trying. All that is needed is 16 players per side to queue and bam .... FW is up.

There could be 100 people currently wanting to play, but if each person queues for 5 minutes then gives up at random times chances are 32 will not be queuing together and a match won't start. So ignore the timer and queue each half hour it will work if enough people are there.

Queue up at 3 o'clock, 4 o'clock, 7.30pm, midday, half past eleven etc. Any time you choose - so long as it is half hour intervals. FW will start as long as enough people are willing to play atany given time. All I am proposing is that we synchronise our queue times. Please, someone help me out - am I making sense here?

If 32 people anywhere in the world want to play but some queue at 5 past and others at 20 past and some at 10 to, a game cannot start as there will not be 32 people queueing together. If however, they all queued up on the hour, a game would start. There would still need to be at least 32 peole queueing at any given time. Another way to look at it: If you fancy a game and it's 18:50 - wait and queue at 19:00. If you fancy a game and it's 14:17 - wait and queue at 14:30.
