Enjoyed an entertaining chat with a guy who lost his to a std hull, missile Gunnlogi, because apparently 40 seconds isn't long enough for him to get back to the redzone.

I don't have time to do that. I blew up the same tanker's Soma so many times it wasn't funny the 7th time. Using a 20j mlt railgun.

Lol no. I grab another one and try to kill him.
I drive HAVs to kill other HAVs first and foremost, though going derpship and LAV hunting is also a great pastime. You sometimes lose HAVs when hunting others, it's to be expected.
I will however rage at the game if I lose my HAV (doesn't matter if militia or proto) due to the infinite-reload or firing glitches.... Because that's BS.
You should, uh, share that convo.

People just need to learn that the Proto HAVs are like Proto Derpsuits, unless you're rocking max or near max skills with those fitting optimizations, you're gonna have a bad time and it's a huge waste of isk.

Don't forget skilling into them and then finding out how bad you are at tanking. I'm sure someone has done that.

i geet alot of hatemail for killing proto tanks in my 4x dmg mod sica/gunnlogi's

it usually involves me hugging the edge of the map (that means the edge of their redline too)
poor guys die in 2-3 hits ever time then cry that they lost 1.2mil isk to something that cost 25% of that (maybe)
dont use proto tanks in pub matches, they arnt worth 1.2 mil isk
