When you play skirmish then you should play the objectives. For example if you do not capture a objective within the next 2-3 minutes then your MCC should retreat which results into a loss due to incompetence of your team.
basically it would be like this: -all objectives captured -timer starts to count down -timer gets resetted when you successfully hacked a objective. -if you fail to capture a objective within 3 minutes MCC retreats resulting in a loss for your team -The match does not end instantly. You are still on the field but the whole map turned into the redline and within 20 secs your clone gets terminated due to missing MCC support.
This way long and boring skirmish sessions could be prevented where the whole opposition just goes into the redline with sniper rifles. In eve you would aswell try to cut your losses if you see that you have no chance in winning. Make it a 7 minute timer for Domination and call it a day.
I make the scrubs scream and the vets cry.

I have a suit designed exclusively for mind-bendingly fast objective hacks. I hardly ever get to use it.
KDR matchmaking fixes everything but the stupid purple Quafe stuff.

Just make it so that the null cannons get a damage bonus when your team has all of them. Speed up the process when it is a total face roll and allow a late comeback to actually matter.
Two birds with one stone.

I completely support this, as long as it becomes a new game mode, DONT change skirmish as it is now. I have seen battles that I was sure they were lost or won by my side, and then completely turn around close to the end of the match. Besides, not having the null canons doesnt mean that the team will lose, they can win depleting the enemy clone reservs. |
