running around in my tank ade me take notice of something, if im one of the higher ranked players on my team (and squadies) and we roll in tanks not cappinng objectives then we tend to lose alot more.
since presumably win/loss ratio is apart of the rating system to a degree im wondering if purposly losing matches by never going for the win (just kills or by being a tanker/pilot) is enough to tank your matchmaking rating enough to mess with the algorithm.
TL:DR refusing to carry your team lowers your MMR

I kinda do that on purpose tbh, as isk efficiency and SP generation (AKA WP) matter, where as win/lose literally does nothing outside of FW/PC besides barely increasing your loyalty rank and increasing mu.

i made an observation, then asked a question. its quite different from systematically undermining a system or losing on purposee.
