My controller broke AGAIN, 5th time.
I didn't throw it, or stomp on it, or drop it in the pool.
When i try to sprint or melee I throw a grenade or the game acts as if a d-pad button has been pressed.
I've died countless times from being stuck on the map screen in CQC.
WHAT SHOULD I DO????

That's... just Dust, actually... No other game will do that, so you're basically SOL'd for Dust unless you by a new controller. I don't think it's broken though, so don't be throwing it away, but I'm willing to bet that it will still work for other games just fine.

Actually, I had a similar issue with one of my controllers (where it was mostly happening in DUST)...it could have something to do with a weird way Sony did ribbon cable connectors, luckily, the fix for me was pretty easy

Sony is keeping Dust alive on the low because of how many controllers the playerbase buys. "But how do they keep track of who breaks what for what game?" Questions like that get you skotty trolled son but the answer is a Lvl 86 Alakazam. It's true.

I have been through 16 controllers in the past 4 years. GOML.
The left joystick always gives out first. I play to aggressive and I pay for it. Literally.
I don't game that hard anymore and now a controller lasts me about 4-6 months on average.
I guess I feel like if I press the left joystick harder I will run faster.

I have 3 controllers: two were purchased when I originally got the PS3, and the other one I bought from Gamestop used two or three years ago. Game does fine with the Gamestop controller, but I run into the same problem as you when I use the older controllers.
