PARKOUR PRACTIONER Nos Nothi 2626	Posted - 2015.03.31 10:40:00 - [1] - Quote Im bad at this so bear with me please. -+Bolt Pistol: Very nice sidearm, decent range decent damage, but slightly broken past certain range. -+Effect: Buff damage significantly and give it range that rivals some primary weapons- Over doing it -+Middle ground (just ideas) tone down damage a little but now too much and increase spread by a little in CQC, this being a longer a range pistol with good damage -+Legion still in the dark about it, seems like a good idea i guess -¦Laser focused on PS3, instead of saying 'We cant continue to support an system like this forever BUT we could move it to the nextgen console PS4/PC that would make it easier to make the necessary changes to make DUST the game we originally wanted' etc -¦Now we have a furious players base because communication between Devs/players wasn't had just, yup were not doing much for PS3 anymore (B.R.) -¦Middle ground- Devs Rattitti -¦EWAR- the core of the scout outside individual skill and biotics, sonar that picks up most, and direction, amazing way to decide when to attack or not -¦Cloaks- Same exact EWAR while cloaked, no firing delay, can brick out and still avoid scans while cloaked 24/7 -¦Middle ground- decrease EWAR while cloaked, not able to see direction but still pick up people, non cloaked EWAR stays the same BUT, needs some EWAR/bonus to mods equiped and, more you brick it, the more visible you are and less EWAR to be had so have to give up something -¦Now we have poor directional EWAR and gallogis have the scans Thats all i can think of for now, what do you think? I'd say reduce optimal, increase falloff, and buff the other pistols/all sidearms. I mean, people say it's too easy to aim with aim assist, but when I use my scrambler or ion pistol it ain't that easy, so surely it won't lead to double sidearm Assaults... Legion and DUST debate, bleh, I never had input on that, except for my own little act of defiance at the Legion announcement last year by referring to it as "Dust 514 on PC". I'm not interested in trying to sway CCP on the decision they make on this. Regardless of the result, as long as somehow they keep a "New Eden FPS" alive, I'll find a way to play it. Not sure if brick-tanked scouts are really much of a problem, unless maybe we talk about the prototype suits. At that point, use a prototype scanner to counter it, seems like an even trade in my opinion. Advanced variants already sacrifice a lot to tank up, and the cloak shimmer with aim assist means most can't do much once they're spotted. > Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Make a sniper suit and tie the effectiveness of sniping to the suit, i.e., the role, and damage mods. Also, attach intel skills to the suit such as being able to light up sigs for the team et al. The sniper suit should be a light suit. With no skill the rifle would not scope beyond 100m and would have massive sway. The suit would grant scope res past 100m and reduce sway while standing. The rifle skill would reduce sway while squatting. Also, allow the suit the ability to fire close range without scoping by adding a reticule when not scoping (as opposed to having to draw a reticule with a marker on the screen). The non-scope range would be 50m. No more mil sniper on the redline, only sp snipers who deserve to be able to work from the redline as a proper hill sniper or can actually operate as a designated marksman at medium range. The more specialized, the less complaining about snipers and the less over abundance of noob players grabbing a mil sniper rifle for kicks. Death is a serious businessGÇª So is running a shoddy, half-baked game company.

Yes, I agree, scouts need less of a nerf to their ewar when cloaked, and the firing after de-cloaking delay needs to be removed - I'm currently loving the infiltrator role in PS2 - especially the stalker cloak that allows you to perma-cloak providing you don't move Just wish more people htfu. Scouts should be op at their role Heavies should be op at their role Assaults should be op at their role Commandos shouldn't exist. Logis - meh, we should keep them quiet by giving them some more ehp, but then only give them a sidearm slot.

Be frightened of those with robot fingers and that optimal rapid fire, bolt pistol requires some luck when aiming because of the build up, so you either have to move when they move and hope that one shot is worth it, or try again and hope you don't die. That is why I am not fond of rail technology, it is really powerful, but that damn charge up kills it for me. I still use a rail rifle on some suits because it is beast, but I am king of the ion, and compared to it, the bolt pistol is poop. o7 *BRUH.* Closed Beta Vet
