Scout POV
1. Make it more invisible.
EVEry F****** time someone sees me because cloaks have a stupid blue shine. Making cloaks clearer will help in two areas
1- make scouts truly stealthy as now they won't be seen. Or at least as much as we are spotted currently.) 2- reduce spawn camping. (Somewhere I read that both cloaks and spawns use the same color and stuff) This will let players move away from the spawn point without being BLOWN UP BY REs.
2. It doesn't make sense that every time someone melees with a cloak, they uncloak. Why?!?!? Is it because they are moving? Nope. They would've uncloaked by running alone. Is it because they had impact with something? Nope. Bullets alone should uncloak you if so.
So again I ask. Why do we uncloak with melee???!!!
3. Fix issue where I swap weapon to decloak and attack, but weapon doesn't pop up, it only uncloaked me and exposed me to my target. Easy bait=ƒÿ¡
4. Slightly reduce decloak time. Along with that^, many scouts won't be instapopped anymore. I have been sing less scout kills recently and I believe cloaks have something to do with it. Or it's jsut the time I play or the players end up with.
Assault, Logi, Sentinel, Commando POV
1. Let fluxes uncloak people.
2. Increase cloak/decloak sound. Make SOUNDS IMPORTANT in this game. This will help as you will have a better chance to know when a scout is near, giving a fairer chance to attack for non-scouts. Hearing someone uncloak has SAVED MY life LIFE BEFOREHAND and it can save yours.

Done that before. Either I have lost practice uncloaked with a scout, or everyone is so aware of scouts, cloaked or not, that even when position is the only thing in my head that will help me win(don't let anyone see you, but you can see your target position) I STILL DIE.

i use uncloaked scout suits and rifles to kill people. I can usually pick off two or three before I have to respawn each time till they wise up fully.

Amarr is(or should) be the slowest, but have high stamina. They are the most tanked.

That would just be OP as crap to have a cloaked scout run around and punch people without them knowing where the damage is coming from.

My pov: meh if you play it stealthily and smart then the blue shimmer is largely irrelevant, as you should be using cloak to cross open areas while reducing visibility, once you reach cover you uncloak and only use it to disappear around corners etc if you are spotted. As for amarr being slower than assault...if that's the case, then yeah I would agree that it needs a speed buff. As for why you decloak for melee its obviously a game balance thing, as you shouldn't be able to stay cloaked once you initiate combat. Playing scout is about picking your battles carefully, learn to do that and you will do better. |

The cloak is to stay invisible at long range or in open areas of the map, if your near players stay out of their field of view.
I am spotted once or twice a game using my cloak for a full match because I understand this, you clearly don't know how to sneak verywell

While sniping, I routinely see cloaked scouts clacking about at 200+ meters. They're using cloak to conceal themselves while crossing open terrain. They're "doing it right", yet I spot them as plainly as I spot anyone else.

Well you must be some lucky guy. I do know how to sneak up. All pro shotty scout. It's all about positioning and timing. People just spot me tho. And it's confusing to me how I am more likely to be spotted while running a shotgun than nova knives.
