When a minmatar assault can kill a heavy in CQC only because he gets nearly no damage while just waking left/right repeatedly.... Had the same guy just sponge all my bullets. I was dead before I could even overheat my HMG....
Switch finally Logis and Assaults walking running speed so the second best suit in terms of EHP isn't also the second fastest in speed. And/or give them bigger hitboxes. |

MinAssault gets a balanced slot layout resulting in a hybrid tanking style with lots of versatility, fastest walk/strafe/sprint speeds, fastest stamina regen, decent dropsuit command bonus, and a powerful service rifle (CR). It's arguably the best assault dropsuit right now.
And yet CCP Rattati wants to nerf the ScR  Sometimes I have to laugh to keep from crying.
4 out of 5 dentists agree that orange is not a sound.

Dude, I can own all HMG's now with my Amarr Assault and Carthum Assault Scrambler Rifle.
In fact, I don't think "AW CRAP" when I see a heavy anymore....because now I have a fighting chance.
A lot of times, I'll switch weapons mid shot and finish you heavy's off with my Carthum Assault Scrambler Pistol because it makes my heart smile to smite your heavy HMG toting behinds with a pistol

I had a similar experience last night
A min assault was hacking a boxed in objective so I pull out behind him and start shooting with my smg
He's dancing back and forth is able to then jump out and run off.
I was definitely hitting him point blank and he had half of his shields left

Same with shotguns. It's ridiculously difficult to try to kill one.

Blame the CoDfish. They complained that their "gun game" wasn't any good, because ... no strafing.
So now, anyone strafing is neigh untouchable. |

...You're firing at him with a sidearm that hits hard against armor, not shields, of course it wouldn't effect him that much. Should of fluxed him first then ganked him with the SMG. Watch that armor deplete in a second.

I miss the days when my fat ass would cause most people to sh*t themselves.
Thing is heavies were in a bad spot before this hotfix and now we are in an even worse slot. I am glad we got a range buff on the Standard and Burst variants, but as it stands we are too easy to kill and this disturbs me.
I find your lack of heaviness... disturbing...

Actually. This stuff really happens, though not only with Minmatar. Yesterday, I played a laggy match and I couldn't finish my second one because Dust signed me out (took me back to the launcher before I choose my character).

All the assaults are really good now. You may be able to argue a case for the Cal, but thats because shield tanking is a bit more difficult to pull off in general purpose situations. I find myself tearing people down in gal, amarr and min with their respective weapons.
