You shouldn't be able to camp it and they shouldn't be able to sit there.
You can't shoot in nor out. If you leave the redline there is no going back in if you sit in the redline for more than 3 minutes then you die unless your calling in a vehicle. Your must have a 5 meter distance from the field to deal damage (to reduce even further being able to stand half way in the field and shoot and back up) Same with vehicles. And vehicles should have nanohives that supply vehicles only and supply depots specificaly for vehicles or make it easier to access them.

Let's say in theory I decided to use a sniper rifle and shoot them the moment they leave the force field. I am more than 100 meters away and they can't retaliate even if they had the range due to the 5 meter rule.
Also with the 5 Meter rule what is stopping me from using a weapon with mid-long range to kill them before the game would let them deal damage?
I find your lack of heaviness... disturbing...

And vehicles and infrantry have a HP boost but with a damage decrease to keep them from just sitting there but keeping them from being farmed as you said. And Rattati informed us of the portals which could spawn in at random or only activate when the losing team is redlined.

How about no Wp for getting kills or being killed in the redline? Anything else could probably be exploited easily or difficult to impliment. |

It's a redlining stomp? The redline goes further out to help out the losing team.
Everything is all good? Redline retreats farther back than normal.
Win-win

Move the redline closer to the objective, so they can camp it further forward? Seems bad.
Personally think if we moved the redzones as far back as possible, it would solve the issue. further back gives more room for you to zoom past the guys pushing you into the red, making it a bad idea to push that far, while also making it so far back that you can't pew pew anywhere useful from it.
The only issue is people not wanting to run that far... Well we have LAV's and dropships for that issue, not to mention maybe less of a 'first scout to the objective' start to the match. |

Forward only in a stomp for a bit of time. I don't see it as that bad because it's dynamic.
You have a good force up front? HUHA pull that RL back baby.
The game is pretty balanced? What's a red line?
The problem with calling vehicles is redliners tend to switch to AV... Just getting nearby gets you lots of blue balls and orange lights that follow.
Putting it back solves lots but... I'm pretty sure they pushed it out for a reason (heavies under MCC :( for example)

Are YOU kidding? The only time it's easy to get kills in the redline is when the other team has already cheat-stomped your team into not being able to escape it. Sniper Rifles were nerfed (into basically not being sniper rifles anymore) so they don't even have the range to kill anyone from the redline unless, like I said, they get closer than they should be. |

Problem solved. I've actually made it so you can't be that close to the redline with turrets shooting you down unmanned might I add.
