I'm drunk so I wont ramble.
It's now 2.30 where I am, I've had 9 cans of beer.
I've long been told that the US server is the hardest server (by US players of course) & I'm just an "EU booster" so decided to try the "hardcore US server"
I go on US server and despite Killed again having 2 logis and an OB and been on the winning team & me being from the UK (more latency).....

US server is only hard for those actually in the US because we have to deal with people from other regions. You bring up your higher latency as if it was hindering you but it was actually giving you an advantage from lag compensation. The US server is easy for you and every US player I've played with calls the EU server the training server because of LC.

Okay so if we go into the us server we cane because of lag advantage... and if we play in our server it's because we're looking for easy fights? Seeing that you said us call eu server training maybe it's because you bring your us Internet to the eu server....

Sayng this you are more drunk than hughes as obviously you dont play on EU/japan server. Then if you really want compare your connection to mine i will give you my stats: 5Mb of download, 0,30Mb of upload, are yours lower than mine?

US server [pub games] should be named - academy server.
You should be happy if you're playing there.
Cuz if you'll play on EU server you'll face full proto squad/s in every game and every gamemode.
In US there is way more randoms.

Actually I have set the battle server to both of those to see it for myself becuse at first I thought it was bullshit. I did quite well, better than on US server, until that month I hit my cap and got throttled to what seemed like dial-up speeds, then I was an absolute wrecking ball.

Region servers have advantages for some weapons; I've had more issues using a Duvolle in another regions versus a shotgun; that delay tends to help weapons no running on a 100% full auto. Even a Scr has some advantages to it. Scan modules tend to pick up prior movements or mis-display remote explosives.
In my last match in response for KDR, it really varies ho you play it. One side was lost by the wayward end of 80 clones but one player went 15-2. He waited til the other team tried to redline and with only 4 players trying it he randomly waited to either pick them off or lovingly let a teammate draw their attention and proceeded to attack them as they were engaging someone else.
That's been the argument of why KDR doesn't matter as much to the OP or region variances; you can really cheese it if you want to cater to specific advantages. I will pull out a thale if it proves to be advantages for my team or if I'm waiting for delivery (yeah what's wrong ordering delivery and playing dust =P they should go hand-in-hand) but i do go around often with a dragonfly scout or apex bpo. Sure they are horrid for damage and are more paper thin in actual combat versus any proto/adv scout but I'm not whiney about it. If I get killed 5 times in a dragonfly scout with a dren shotgun going 10-5 that's pretty respectful especially if your facing off against viziam scramblers.
I really wish Dust just got rid of the KDR and made winning matches more of a need in the game. Way it is right now, you can sit tight in a maddy with 4 other maddy's and loose the match but win in the KDR & ISK department because why risk loosing your tank to a meaningless pub match?
That last sentence alone is the never~ending achille's heel of dust; the outcome of matches seem less important than KDR-to-ISK involved ratio. Some of the best matches are those where players want to win and it does come down to the wire of a handful of clones. |

You were playing bad people then.
Wait until you run into someone like Kazuka Sniper with Proto everything, Damage Subsystem to level 5, Experimental weapon who will be in a SUPER SQUAD. meaning permascans. Not too mention half of them will be glitching the hitboxes.
Just ran into a Minmatar glitching his Hitbox today, I couldn't believe my eyes. On My screen my bullets WERE hitting him, but he took almost NO damage. This unamed soul and many like him were running the Minmatar Assault, you'd have to see it to believe it.
If this is what Dust has become, then the Core spam is understandable. I can take the Michael Jordan wannabees, but this bending the spoon Matrix bs has got to stop.
I'll try to get this recorded next time, I'm serious, only way I was hurting these Hitbox cheaters were by explosives.

Dust UE netcode favors high-ping players, IMO. To make things worse, at times of low frame rate, for instance when 10 players are running close to each other, it becomes practically impossible to hit fast moving targets. |

this particular pub match has nothing to do with servers or who has the lag advantage. scotty the match maker just screwed that team by putting a bunch of forsaken empire on. you should delete dust for dieing 4 times.
