so with all the front line suits now having up-links there seems to be more occurrence of a bug that places you in places which you cannot escape from, this needs to be fixed as soon as possible
it is really annoying expensive (forces you to lose isk due to having to commit suicide to get out) and it makes most games uneven when half the team is stuck and doesn't know how to get out due to not even knowing where the suicide command is located |

A more effective strategy would be to reply to one of the map feedback threads in the map feedback subforum, and provide the specific location of the uplink glitch using the grid coordinates. |

unfortunately its not specific to just one area but to entire maps |

I'm not sure what you mean. Every uplink glitch I've ever spawned on has been confined to a specific area, such as the corner of a socket or stairway. |

Oh snap! This is why uplink placement has been complete crap recently. My problem recently is people not strategically placing uplinks. I find people placing uplinks so far away from your team that after you spawn you are not able to get back to your team in time to provide them with backup and as a result they all end up dieing. Eventually everyone becomes spread out all over the map which is the last thing you ever want to happen in this game, in my opinion. |

People who drop links facing to walls (only way to glitch them into the wall btw) should get terminated by battle health and safety sentinel drones... |

what I mean is that if there is a small opening anywhere where a scrub can place an uplink you will get stuck or if it glitches trough the ground or in a corner somewhere or next to a wall and you end up inside the wall otherwise its just spawning trough the ground and falling endlessly |

Yeah, so if you let the developers know specifically where these occur, they might fix them. This really is less of a placement problem and more of a map problem. Whenever you spawn on a glitched uplink, You could take a pic of the overhead map for reference. |

I agree, getting spread out can be a recipe for disaster, but sometimes there's no other option to get out of the hot zone and drop a link somewhere else. I've played plenty of matches, read: stomps, where it's pointless to keep spawning in X area of the map. Blues just be running into slaughter. In those cases, I'll go out of my way to drop a link as far away from there as possible. Probably just delays the carnage for a minute or so, but at least my team has a chance to hack something and draw attention away from that hot zone. Who knows, might be enough to swing the momentum.
As for glitched uplinks, yes they're annoying. Don't have anything else to say about that. |
