Better for balance.
This would keep all the 6-Player proto squads out. Ambush would be a bit less competitive and safer for all the un-squadded blues.
This would also concentrate all the full squads into Dom Skirm and FW, hopefully pitting them against each other more often.
Also remove OB's from Bush.
Ambush is almost un-playable solo or even in a small squad. It's a giant blueberry farm-fest. Playing bush is a matter of hoping the stomp squad is on your team, unless you're in one. And more than a few times I've seen a stomp squad on each side at the beginning of a bush, only to see one or sometimes both leave battle when they saw it would be a tough match! Not working as intended!
Stomp squads have ruined this game mode, and are trying their best to ruin the game, so move them to where they're supposed to be!
Let ambush be the less competitive death match mode it's supposed to be.
Who cares what some sniper has to say.

Nearly every bad ambush I have doesn't even have squads in it, it's just a giant blob. It doesn't take a squad or even coms to know how to join in on the stampede. I don't think reducing or removing squads in Ambush will have that much of an impact in overall quality of gameplay.

I do. Even when there are no squads its still a stampede.

One if the major problems I'm seeing is getting perma scanned
Reducing squads or even having no squads is not going to reduce that advantage
