It was a completely unnecessary nerf. What else can break a madrugars reps besides multiple Av and remotes? Blasters melt my gunlogis shields faster than ever, it doesn't make sense. Missles would have been the perfect counter to madrugars.
I guess its typical CCP, Nerf Assault dropships/buff swarms , Nerf scanners/buff scouts, Nerf assault rifles/ bring in 2 of the most op rifles in the game. Some things should be left untouched.

As a large missile user - they were completely overpowered vs armor, they needed to be nerfed. That said they tweaked them a bit too far in one direction.
A decent chunk of the maddy buffs were also needed.

Dont you know that CCP ratatti is a gallente player and hates everything that is asociated with shields and caldari weaponary? Asking him to buff missiles would be like asking a amarr slavelord to let his minmatarr slave go.

I dont think the turret is at fault though. Proto blaster or AV cant break through madruger reps either. You dont need a missile turret buff, you need a madruger rep module nerf.
I wonder if railguns can make it through the reps if you fit heat sinks and damage mods, I havent played with them enough this patch. |

It remains to be seen if gunnlogis were actually nerfed. Its impossible to tell because madrugers absolutely dominate everything right now. |

Ill reserve judgement until the madruger isnt stomping it every time it gets called onto the field.
The one time I had the opportunity to use swarms on one it was still very difficult to kill. |

Don't tell me you thing Double hardened Armor tanks with two heavy reps is not OP. Anyway, 3 hardeners on a Gunnlogi takes up like 9% of the CPU on the tank there it is not viable so please refrain from your bullsh*t.

You don't think av can break reps?!?!?! At 1.1-1.3 million isk a proto tank they can still break reps. People running min and stacking dammage mods and than ontop of the running experimental swarms. They did over 2500 dammage. That is almost the base armor of a maddy. Not to mention I now can't hear people putting remotes on my tanks. |

If tanks need active reps active hardeners active damage mod and active scanner how are they going to be able to activate half of this stuff? We have a bad module wheel how it is and every tanker can agree with me that they have tried at one point to flip on 2 mods and have shut the one they turned on first off. If we made everything on your drop suit an active mod would that solve proto stomping? |

Active reps would give us what we have now, a wave of opportunity. But it would be determinated by rep and hardeners duration. Now we have double hardened [24\7 or 2 at once] maddys and their wave of opportunity is permament to 46 seconds.
But whatever. I'm driving one of those. If you want to leave them as they're now then i won't mind it.

Its impossible to kill a 2 rep/2 hardener madruger with a 2 complex dmg mod min commando with any swarm launcher. I've tried it in a controlled test and the health will remain capped at 100% until hardeners go down. |

I saw a 3 reps 1 hardener Advanced madrugar today and the guy was completely invincible. We were 3 guys in AV: me with Std PLC, a friend with proto PLC+2dmg+proto galmando, and a blueberry with an advanced FG. So ok, we all had anti-shield weapons, but we weren't missing a single shot, and this guy didn't give a $hit!!
He was repping faster than 3 AV players shooting at him simultaneously => insane.
Ho and he had a blaster turret which was killing instantly. Fun times.
Fix the game before trying to add anything else.
(Hint: hit detection, lags, glitches,.. you've got some work :) )
