Copying the idea of Fuel Block Manufacturing (Ice Mining and PI) from Eve, force players to do FW in order to fuel their war barge modules (experimental weapons springs to mind), flotilla, and districts by making the Dust equivalent of Fuel Blocks exclusively available through FW.
In addition of making corp command point generation exclusive to FW matches as well.
The problem with the current iteration of FW is that it is competing for the same players as PUBs do, and that the rewards for doing PUBs is "better".
Simple trading isn't going to change that LP != ISK, since it will be too cumbersome to exchange LP for ISK. So FW needs to reward something that players actually need and care for.
And ban players who AFK in FW from participating in FW for a couple of days.

Or just revert the matchmaking changes to FW. You know, the system that worked.

Why not just add components to the payouts in FW? Seems easier with the same result. There's already so much unexplained in game.
FW boosters would be a very popular item. |

I posted this in another thread but they could have PVE on FW districts. Fight drones if no enemy team appears. Or perhaps have 1 drone per missing player.
People would triple stack FW boosters.
They are sitting on a gold mine with the New Eden lore and FW. They could do a story mode and keep adding to it, there are people that would get er3ctions from that. Getting a bit ahead of myself for sure, but if I were making a New Eden FPS it would be centered around FW. |
