You're getting a MAX of like 4.8k shield ehp from that fit. Honestly it'll get destroyed by everything. Armor can hang that low because of their constant repairs, but with a shield vehicles you won't have time for your repairs to kick in. Even using a booster, if you do it at the wrong time the rail can negate it (it's sad but true). Really though that booster isn't going to help even if it did work, since 900 shield is like 2 rail shots.
I prefer 2 extenders and a hardener and just rely on passives for regen. A nitro will help for speedy get aways or ambushing, and the damage mod is nice as well.

If this really is a problem for you, take it as a sign that:
-you haven't fit your tank's 'tank' correctly. At all. 
-your team miraculously has no AV guys. This is so weird that you should perform a ritual to excise the evil that such an event instils upon you. 
Seriously though. Get advice on how to fit a tank; you really shouldn't be scared of us pilots, more consider us a nuisance with how we are now.  |

Yes im skilled into Incubus and lvl 3 railgun (small) Its not that hard to escape forger gunners expect those damn swarm lauchers....
Its not that hard to shoot tanks with railguns either (unless youre to incubus-railgun)

It's like 430 damage does only 90% against shields or something

Try driving forward and back? Break LOS? Pop a hardener? If you aren't sitting still or driving in a straight line, it's pretty damn hard to reliably land shot after shot on a tank.

The only thing they need to do is increase how high the top turret can look up. If you want protection, get a gunner.
